Juawayne is a small lead guard whose size can be deceiving, as he makes a huge impact on the game on both ends of the floor from the lead guard spot. He plays very aggressively, and with his shiftiness, he keeps defenders on their heels. He is an experienced lead guard who knows how to run the show, and he can provide multi-level scoring when opportunities arise. Boy Anderson will be in good hands this upcoming season.

Ty is a lead guard who looks to get his defender in isolation or in ball screens, and from there he uses his skill set to put pressure on the defender, often resulting in paint touches, which collapses the defense and forces rotation, in which he does a good job making opponents pay for any mistakes in the rotations. He does a good job creating for his teammates and getting the ball into their hands in areas in which they can quickly make plays. He uses his shiftiness to keep defenders off-balance and get to his spots on the floor. He will be needed for Harlem to have a successful season.

Tyler is a lead guard who is tough off the bounce and puts constant pressure on the rim. He is really good at getting into the heart of the defense, but he has a really good feel for when not to overpenetrate and to work his middle game. He has really good vision, which is often seen when he rims and runs, getting his team out in transition. He has a good feel for the game and a unique awareness of situations in which to exploit. He plays on and off the ball, maintaining his production capacity; however, he is at his best when operating at the point. Look for his lead guard responsibilities to increase this year.

He has a mature floor game, and his experience is going to be needed as Gainesville looks for a playoff birth at the end of the year. He is a crafty passer with court vision and does a good job getting his teammates involved. When he is needed to score, he has a multi-level scoring arsenal, making him another weapon the defense has to account for. Kevin is a trustworthy lead guard who has the ability to be the leader of his squad this year.

He is an aggressive lead guard with a quick first step and can easily be considered a score-first PG as he can fill it up from all levels. With Hoover losing a significant chunk of talent, Messiah is primed to battle for a starring role at the lead guard spot, and his spring and summer play suggests he is ready for it. He showed his leadership ability, his ability to run the show, and his ability to be trusted with the keys to the squad. He plays with passion, and he is not a player you have to prime to get up to play, because every time he steps in between the lines he gives total energy and effort on both ends of the floor.
