He put on a masterclass in shot-creation as he got buckets off the dribble with ease. Gracey walked into pull-up three-pointers without hesitation, showcasing a smooth left-handed jumper with textbook mechanics and pure touch that splashed clean through the net. Gracey attacked off the bounce with relentless penetration, shifting into his next gear at top speed fluidly before using counter footwork against traffic, showing eurosteps, cross-steps, and swing-steps to finish through or around defenders. When he wasn't converting in traffic, Gracey was drawing fouls with physical drives and knocking down free throws at an elite clip. Legend Gracey had a presence that was felt and a polished scoring skillset that was evident.

Garviel Noel caemd won downhill like a freight train, attacking with aggression and power while seeking out contact. He consistently barreled through defenders, finishing through contact, drawing fouls, and converting and-1 opportunities on a consistent basis. Noel's physicality was demoralizing for opponents, as even crowded lanes couldn't stop him from getting to the rim. Great upper body strength and physicality to match, playing fearless and often inviting it contact. His dribbling skills also made him nightmare, allowing him to be a transition and straight line drive threat game to game.

DeVontae Cobb Jr. was one of the weekend's biggest breakout prospects, standing out as one of the most well-rounded players in the gym. He's a pure combo guard who showed advanced ball control and footwork, making him equally dangerous as a facilitator or shot creator. This kid displayed flashes of elite scoring potential the moment the ball touched his hands, as he pump-faked into a baseline attack before jump-stopping for a two-foot float with soft touch. This proved to be a continuous pattern for him as he made the majority of his plays off two feet, scoring in bunches with floaters and balanced layups. Off the ball, Cobb Jr. was a knockdown shooter who consistently created extra space for his teammates to drive with his impressive movement, drifting to corners for catch-and-shoot threes or baseline cuts. As a dribbler, he didn't see a press he couldn't break, playing with low, tight dribbles and precise trap splits. Instinctive passer, dropping dimes on time and on target with a high level of difficulty often threading the needle. Defensively, his motor was relentless, crashing the glass, diving on the floor and out of bounds for loose balls, unafraid to sacrifice his body for the play.

James Braden was a pure catch-and-shoot sniper, knocking down threes from all spots beyond the arc. He stepped into shots in rhythm with a smooth, high release and consistent follow-through. Braden moved well without the ball, finding pockets of space and popping to the perimeter within the natural flow of the offense.

DJ Lewis was a quick-thinking lead guard who consistently made the right reads, finding open teammates or making the extra pass to generate easy scoring opportunities. Lewis played with poise and confidence, using crafty footwork, tight handles, and advanced finishing skills to break down defenses and put up points within the flow of the game. His passing vision and ability to deliver assists under pressure made him a reliable offensive initiator and playmaker.

While waiting for other games to start, I found myself courtside for a 4th grade matchup and what I thought would be just passing the time turned into a glimpse of the next generation of talent. From quick-handed guards pushing the pace to developing bigs owning the paint, the 4th grade division was loaded with 2033's and 2034's making plays you wouldn't expect from athletes this young. It was a reminder that the foundation of future stars is built early, and these prospects are already laying bricks for what could be bright basketball futures. Here's a look at some of the breakout performers from the 4th grade division at Coast2Coast The Finals.
