The Platform: 2027 Hybrid Guards

We had the opportunity to see teams from across the Midwest compete through the 3 day long event. I watched mostly divisions from the classes of 2027 and 2029. Has a lot of hustle and grit and finds a joy in competing. Showed positive attitude in a couple of the games I saw. Works well in transition pushing the ball up tempo. Had a coast to coast take, push ahead pass assists, and a sweet reverse layup in traffic. Showed agility and high iq with or without the ball on both sides. Converted over size at the rim and played hard nosed. Effective on primary break opportunities. Had a big steal in the back court in morning game to help secure a tough win in the last minute. Determined to get to locations on the floor. Defensively played hard nosed tough on the ball. Eyes are peeled when handling. Plays alongside a couple other solid guards. Together they can speed the game up in a hurry. Sees the floor well and is a good passer. Thread the needle between defenders a couple times to fill up assist department.
