JoDell Redman (St Joe Lafayette): A 6'1" small forward who plays much bigger than his actual size. I was most impressed with toughness and the extreme effort that he plays with. He sets up in the post with strength and authority and he can score around the basket. He is also a very effective slasher to gets to the rim through contact. He is also a very active rebounder at both ends of the court. He should become the prime go-to guy for the Irish this upcoming season.

Cordell Davis (Parkview): A 6'3" guard who saw minutes on Parkview's Class 5 Final Four team as a sophomore. He has the talent to move into a bigger role next season with the graduation of so many key seniors. He is a very skilled offensive player, but he plays a very unselfish game. He can create for others with his dribble penetration and court vision. He makes the right pass. He is also strong physically to get in the lane on the drive and he combines that with 3-point shooting range. He played with [program_tooltip program_id='2077053' first='Yanders' last='Law'] during the summer grassroots season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2840847' first='Dakota' last='Pitts'] (Capital City): A 6'3" wing player who is a good athlete and an excellent worker. He is at his best on offense when he is getting downhill on the dribble with aggressive drives. He's strong and he doesn't mind the contact when he attacks. He also rebounds with tenacity at both ends of the court. He gets his share of offensive putbacks. He played with COMO-TNT's 17U team during the summer and was very solid while playing up a year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2840728' first='Jerome' last='Shelton'] (Waynesville): A 6'3" shooting guard who played with the [program_tooltip program_id='2075689' first='Missouri' last='Flight'] during the summer grassroots season. He is a talented scoring threat from all three levels. He has shifty moves off the dribble and he can change directions on the dime. He has impressive shooting range that extends well beyond the 3-point line. He is also a nice playmaker who can deliver accurate passes with both hands.

Derek Grayson (St Joe Benton): A 6'1" point guard who was a key reserve on Benton's Class 4 state runner-up team as a sophomore last season. He had a very strong summer playing for the Real Dream Chasers out of Kansas City. He is a high energy player on defense who can apply good on-ball pressure while also playing the passing lanes for steals. He plays very well in the open court in transition as he stays on the attack. He should move into a bigger role for what should be another strong Benton team.

[player_tooltip player_id='1977545' first='Jamarcus' last='Smith'] (Ritenour): A 6'2" shooting guard who has worked his way back into action during the summer after missing months with an ACL injury. He is a good iso player on offense with the ability to score at all three levels. He gets to the mid-range area and can raise up to hit the jumper with good elevation. He has a nice burst to beat defenders and get downhill off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id='2837061' first='Drew' last='Benassi'] (Lee's Summit): A 6'4" forward who is an excellent all-around athlete who plays three sports. He is solidly built and he is capable of making explosive plays on the basketball court. He's very good at driving into the lane and dunking on defenders who may challenge him. He is very good at getting in the lane and playing off two feet.
