The rankings serve as a reflection of exposure, performance, and potential. These players have a unique opportunity to elevate their positions through increased exposure and greater productivity on the court. Many of them compete at larger schools and have previously played behind more experienced or older players. The summer season and their expanded roles could lead to upward movement in the rankings and will enhance their chances of earning opportunities at the next level. Continued development and consistent effort will be key as they strive to make the most of this critical time in their basketball journey.

[player_tooltip player_id='2332057' first='Christian' last='Bernard'] is a player with all the skills required to excel at the next level. As an undersized guard, he checks all the boxes necessary for high-level play. He is a high IQ point guard who understands the game and walks the line between a basketball player and a hooper. He's fun to watch because he's unpredictable, yet he maintains the consistency in his skill set to knock down shots in sets and facilitate for teammates. He is an aggressive defensive player with a relentless motor and will never be beaten to a loose ball or down the court. Watch out for Christian—he could see one of the biggest jumps in rankings among all currently evaluated players.

[player_tooltip player_id='2472435' first='Maddox' last='McCorkle'] is as skilled a player as you'll find in the state. An obvious student of the game and a gym rat, he leverages his speed and quickness to gain an advantage. A long-range sniper and downhill slasher, he plays the game well off of two feet. With a skill set comparable to Jalen Brunson, Maddox is constantly making plays and moving all over the court. Despite being undersized, his intangibles and versatility will give him plenty of opportunities at the next level. Coaches who favor smaller guards should definitely keep an eye on this Louisiana hooper.

[player_tooltip player_id='1543701' first='Jacob' last='Serrano'] is set to take on a bigger role this season at Catholic and could become one of the more notable guards in the state with his skill set. Catholic players are known for their skill, poise, and strong fundamentals, and Serrano fits that mold. He's a gritty defensive player and a capable shooter from beyond the arc. A true three-level scorer, he excels at finishing, shooting, and creating at all three levels. His performances during the June scholastic event reflect his summer work, and with Catholic aiming to build on their impressive 2024-2025 season, Serrano will be a key player in their quest to return to championship contention. He has all the skills, grit, and potential to climb the rankings and earn opportunities at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1639715' first='Michael' last='Ducre'] has been lighting it up all summer, putting up big numbers everywhere he plays. Competing on the New Balance Circuit, he's noticeably stronger than in past years, with a solid 6'3” frame that's only boosting his stock. A proven sharpshooter, Ducre has also developed his mid-range game and is comfortable attacking the rim, finishing strongly through contact. With his combination of size, athleticism, IQ, and skill, he's poised for college basketball. Keep an eye on him moving forward—he checks all the boxes and continues to rise. Remember the name and follow his game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1679471' first='Allen' last='Fisher'] will be a name to watch across the state as he steps into an increased role for Neville this season. His game is built on pace, and he excels at facilitating for teammates. The next step for Fisher is taking on a leadership role on the offensive end and embracing his scoring ability. He has the ability to drop 30 points in a game—an impressive feat at the 5A level. He can score from anywhere, anytime. His businesslike approach to the game emphasizes efficiency, poise, and precision. His assertion on the offensive side of the ball will determine the future of Neville basketball in one of the toughest divisions in the state. Keep an eye on Allen in the future.
