They advanced to the Class A State Championship game last season and run out a series of quick guards, so this was a worthy challenge that Korajo passed. Korajo will be a star. The elder Dickens owns all of the things stars tend to possess: genetics, size, strength. That is the baseline. Then, he already refined his handles and improved his agility. The upside is tremendous for Kharlo and M.B.A. is lucky to have him and his family in their program.

7/5/25: What will Kharlo be in five years? Tough to tell. His game suggests forward, whether he lands on small or power forward remains to be seen. Kharlo will be a dominant player at the high school level as soon as possibly this next winter. Naturally strong. No ego. Kharlo can, at the very minimum, provide the Big Red with an elite defensive rebounder and post defender. His ceiling will become less hazy after a few months of M.B.A. basketball. Great energy. A naturally pleasant person.

7/5/25: Sneaky speed. An undersized guard who will grow a bit. Large role for a freshman. Pughsley will get plenty of chances to fill in after graduated legends Colin O'Neal and Kevin Die'.

7/5/25: Junior center [player_tooltip player_id='2449556' first='Hunter' last='Noel'] eagerly posted up, but sometimes had trouble gaining leverage on the defenders when he backed down. This is quite common for tall, slender bigs because they often get guarded by shorter, more stocky guys. Hunter will have to continue to get stronger in the lower body and in the long-term he will find it easier to establish on the blocks with this added power and weight. His understanding of the game is better than six months ago. Facing Lebanon Hunter passed exceptionally out of the post. He did not get "sticky" hands and routinely found the open man. Lebanon did not double the post as aggressively as some teams might, but this court awareness and willingness to kick it out will serve him well for years.

7/5/25: Quick feet. Taft will have a shot at college basketball.
