LADERA RANCH — The adidas 3SSB circuit made its final stop of the July live period on the west coast as the majority of the shoe company's teams headed to OGP Ladera in Southern California for the 3SSB Earn Your Stripes Invitational. The event kicked off Thursday morning and droves of college coaches flooded the baselines and sidelines to watch the high-level recruits. Below we break down the most skilled forwards and centers we watched on Day 1.

Alexander Egbuonu | 2026 | BABC (MA)

Egbuobu doesn't fit the size criteria when imagining a big in the traditional sense but his skill-set and next level position are of an undersized but skilled four/five man. The 6-foot-7 forward is a physical, agile and strong interior finisher with touch with either hand and has the vertical pop to elevate and finish above the rim. Egbuonu can also step out on the perimeter and knock down face-up threes or drive by his defender and get to the rim.

Asher Elson | 2026 | New Heights (NY)

Elson is a long, wiry and fluid four-man who thrived in the up-and-down, free-flowing style of play. The 6-foot-9 rising senior is a lane-filler, slasher and finisher at the rim who uses his long strides and length to cover ground and glide to the rim to score. Elson also has a perimeter skill-set that allows him to stretch the floor to the three-point line or knock down turn-around, fade away mid-range jumpers.

Cody Peck | 2026 | Garner Road (NC)

Peck was one of the more mobile and vertically athletic of the “traditional” big men on the first day of the event. The wiry 6-foot-10 five man is best as a rim-runner and finisher with his transition mobility and fluidity when catching, gathering and finishing on the run. Peck is also effective when rolling out of ball screens and using his pogo-stick athleticism to elevate and finish over rim protectors.

[player_tooltip player_id='2622334' first='David' last='Abisogun'] | 2026 | Dream Vision (CA)

Abisogun's stock continues to rise as he has become Dream Vision's most effective interior scorer. The 6-foot-9 left-handed center plays with elite energy on both ends of the floor, is a high level communicator defensively and can exert energy for extended periods of time. Abisogun seals post position with physicality and uses his shoulder to dislodge defenders and get to a left hand finish.

Davion Adkins | 2026 | [program_tooltip program_id='2076309' first='Southern' last='Assault'] (TX)

Adkins is such an intriguing long-term prospect because of his combination of size, mobility and touch around the basket. He's a true 6-feet-9 and operates with patience and a high IQ with his back to the basket touches. Adkins' unorthodox offensive skill-set is highlighted by his high arching jump hook and ability to hit 13 to 15 foot fading jumpers. While many opposing teams would live with that kind of shot from a center, for Adkins that's what his offensive toolbox is predicated on.

Jalan Wingfield | 2026 | Anthony Edwards Five (GA)

Wingfield is a very tough cover at the high school level because of the level of physicality he brings to every possession on both ends of the floor and the skill in which he can finish with around the basket. The 6-foot-8 forward/center has a throwback feel to his approach to the game to go along with some modern tools as a back to the basket scoring threat.

Trace Westercamp | 2026 | [player_tooltip player_id='2854586' first='Austin' last=''] Rivers SE Elite (FL)

Westercamp was extremely comfortable floating his way out to the perimeter and knocking down catch-and-shoot threes from multiple spots of the floor. At 6-feet-9 with a fluid shooting stroke and high release, Westercamp can pull bigger players away from the basket because of his touch from deep and operates well in pick and pop action and steps into trail threes with confidence.

William Stevens | 2026 | Upward Stars (SC)

Stevens impressed with his two-way impact inside. Defensively, the long, wiry 6-foot-10 center possesses elite timing when contesting shots around the rim and had a possession where he blocked three straight at-rim shot attempts. Offensively, Stevens is a versatile, inside-out scoring threat who has face-up touch to the three point line, can score with either hand around the rim and is a connective passer out of the low post or when creating in dribble hand off situations.
