2026 Stock Risers Outside the Top 100

The incoming senior class is exploding with talent in Texas. There are several players that are making a ton of noise and putting in the work to be great that are currently outside the top 100. Below you'll see a handful of student athletes that are ascending with their performances and turning more and more heads by the day.    Joshua is a sharpshooting, slashing combo guard that can hurt the opposition in a plethora of ways with his versatility. He has nice burst off the dribble and goes up strong in the lane, never backing down from any potential contact. He's got an impressive wingspan and vertical he utilizes to get shots up and over the toughest defenders in the paint. If he gets hot from beyond the arc - look out - because once he starts feeling it, the rim seems to become wider and wider for him. He' a great passer off his drives to the basket and has the ability to quickly identify teammates in a better scoring position than himself. He's skilled at finishing through contact and racking up extra points at the charity stripe. He's a heads-up player that makes impact plays throughout the game on both ends of the floor.     Donovan is a smart two-way player with elite footwork and finishing ability offensively and a tenacity that simply can't be extinguished on the defensive end. He is lengthy and he has great hands defensively, often racking up multiple blocks per game and picking pockets easily without ever hearing the whistle. His anticipation is off the charts - he always seems to know where his opponents are going next. He has the ability to create for himself and his teammates and he's a skilled passer. His footwork is rock solid and he's got a pull up jumper that's incredibly tough to defend. His elite ballhandling ability and evasive fadeaway make him an incredibly tough cover. Gaddis is poised to attract a ton of attention in his senior campaign.     John is a quick, gritty combo guard with massive talent that can take over the game on both ends of the floor. He prides himself on his defense, so you never have to worry about anything less than 100% effort when it comes to stopping his opponents in their tracks. His impressive footwork and ability to adjust on the fly allow him to stay in front of his assignment at all times and make anything they're trying to accomplish incredibly difficult. He has sneaky hands that can rack up steals in a hurry and great vision when surveying down the floor to reward his streakers. He picks passing lanes like a cornerback and is great at creating general havoc for the opposition consistently. Offensively, Gilbert is fantastic at sizing up his opponent off the dribble and exploiting their weaknesses, often using his speed and length for an easy bucket at the rim.     Hayden is a lengthy, rim-protecting menace of a forward that can dominate on both ends of the floor with regularity. He has a solid ballhandling ability and an impressive vertical that allows him to elevate up and over any defender brave enough to take him on and sink jumpers with ease. He can stretch the floor with his consistency beyond the arc and his ability to go on hot streaks. He's a beast defensively, with a wingspan that's hard to overcome for anyone and incredible anticipation to match - he collects blocks with ease in the paint. He's a dangerous putback threat, always seemingly knowing which way the rock will bounce next. He has great touch on his shot and I only see that getting better and better in his senior year. Brannan is a flat out difference maker.     Hashim is a speedy, fearless combo guard with impressive burst off the dribble and a nice finishing ability at the rim. He's long for a guard and uses that to alter and block shots consistently on the defensive end. He can also reach into passing lanes other guards may miss and stack steals for easy buckets off the fast break. He elevates his teammates regularly and has the ability to attract multiple defenders and quickly outlet to a wide open teammate for a high-percentage jumper or layup in the lane. He moves incredibly well without the ball and he's an excellent decision-maker on both ends of the floor. Al-Yasiri is set to continue to ascend during his senior year and the attention on him will only grow stronger from here.
