#PHOhioState Top Players – Saturday Morning

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This past weekend I was in Columbus, Ohio for the PrepHoops Ohio State Tournament and I saw a ton of different teams and good players. He was all over the floor on both ends. His responsibility is to be the point guard for Hopson, and he knows how to fill this role. He is a nice scorer that can get to the rim. He showed a couple knockdown threes from deep. He is a fast player which made it hard for defenders to stay in front of him. This also allowed him to cut players off and change their direction as a defender. He is listed at 6'10 and has some really long arms. He moves well and has a nice second jump. This was shown with the amount of 2nd chance rebounds and points he had. Anything around the rim he was involved in. He was blocking shots and grabbing boards. He was unstoppable and it felt like he scored every point for his squad in the first half. He was aggressive from the tip. He did his damage around the rim early. I like what he showed by not settling for anything because he could overpower the other team. He did just that most of the game. He started knocking down shots as well and this shows his real versatility as a big guard. He was shown the ability to play bigger than he is listed as. He did most of his scoring around the rim. He was patient and showed good footwork and pump fakes. He had multiple tough finishes through contact. He is a tough kid and not only played in the paint but also defended it well. He has an unlimited range on his shot and he is not afraid to shoot it when he crosses half-court. When he shoots it you think, bad shot, and then it goes in pretty consistently. This shows an elite level of confidence in his shooting ability. He plays fast and is ready to push the pace. He is a point guard who can absolutely shoot it but does not just take every shot. He finds open teammates and gets everyone involved.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
