Day 1 of the Summerslam spotlighted a group of dynamic athletes 13U Division who made immediate impacts through their versatility, defensive intensity, and leadership. From gritty hustle plays to coast-to-coast finishes, these players brought high-level performances and starred in their role.    Hurt emerged as a true two-way threat for D1 Minnesota. His ability to turn defense into instant offense stood out. His long frame and lightning-quick instincts disrupted passes. In transition, he covered ground effortlessly and applied pressure at the rim with assertive drives. Hurt's steady decision-making and strong ball security in the half-court offense rounded out a well-balanced, impactful performance.     Mabil was the heartbeat of The Next Level Basketball Academy's defense. His relentless motor, physical presence, and willingness to do the dirty work inspired teammates. He dove for loose balls to committed to boxing out. Mabil brought an edge to the paint that made high-percentage shots difficult for opponents. His gritty style of play was a defining element of his team's defensive identity.     Nowak brought consistency and effort to both ends of the floor. Defensively, he was solid when boxing out, rotating effectively, and sacrificing his body for 50/50 balls. On offense, his versatility was equally important.
