<p>One of the more impressive dual sport athletes in the state is Marist's <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1845350' first='Stephen' last='Brown']</strong>. With many prospects it is pretty obvious by the time they are a rising senior which sport they will play at the next level. That isn't the case with Brown as he has made a case to play both sports in college as a power forward in hoops and wide receiver/tight end in football.</p>

<p>We saw him this past weekend at the Riverside Brookfield Live Event where he was about as good as we have seen him on the hardwood. Showcased his versatility on the offensive end, rebounded, and played above the rim.</p>

<p>“It has gone amazing. We are still trying to come together and playing more as a team. I feel like everything is starting to click and we are going to be one of the top teams in the state.”</p>

<p>“My confidence. I feel like I have always had this, but now I feel like I am confident and can do it in games now.”</p>

<p>He broke down his basketball recruiting with us.</p>

<p>“I have talked to a lot of schools Illinois State, Boise State, UIC, and DePaul.”</p>

<p>He recently landed new offers from DePaul, Illinois State, and LIU for hoops. Things are picking up on the football side as well for the jumbo pass catcher.</p>

<p>“Western Michigan, Tulsa, and I have been talking to San Diego State a lot.”</p>

<p>“I am still in the middle of picking. I will probably decide by the end of football season. I just want to decide what the best fit is for me. Where I can be the best me.”</p>
