Lake Conference Network Announces Official Launch for 2025-26
Minneapolis, MN (June 26, 2025) – The eight member Lake Conference (Buffalo, Eden Prairie, Edina, Hopkins, Maple Grove, Minnetonka, St. Michael-Albertville, Wayzata) today announced the creation of The Lake Conference Network (LCN), set to launch August 15, 2025. The online streaming network will serve as the official live and on demand streaming platform for 9th grade to varsity level sports and fine-arts.
Sixteen sports will livestream on the network and feature all Lake Conference games. Non-conference home competitions are included in the network’s menu of games. The varsity events will have announcers and there will be weekly highlight shows unique to the fall, winter, and spring seasons. Enhanced social media promotion and coverage of schools, teams, and players will be executed by the network staff.
This five-year agreement is exclusive to the newly formed Lake Conference Network website. “We are excited to partner with the Lake Conference and its eight outstanding schools,” said LiveBarn MN COO Pete Waggoner. “It has been a long-time coming since we first introduced the idea during the 2012-2013 season. The Lake Conference is considered one of the best conferences in Minnesota, and the nation. To be affiliated with these schools is a huge honor.”
Fine-arts and music will be included in the Lake Conference Network with performances streamed live from the member school’s auditorium. The LCN will also work with each school’s media departments to provide students with the opportunity to engage in production, announcing, and other multi-media roles.
“This partnership will allow Lake Conference students educational opportunities through their school and give them the experience in a sports and media pathway earlier than ever before,” said Edina High School Assistant Principal and Activities Director, Troy Stein.
More information will come related to membership information with The Lake Conference Network.
