The final of three events at LakePoint, one for girls and two for the boys, was this past weekend, as Georgia welcomed in regional teams from the surrounding states and beyond.

The matchups produced some entertaining basketball and some eye-opening wing threats, guys who showed off hot shooting and creative finishing.

Jordan Fisher | Forward | Columbus | Florida | 2028

Among the more impressive specimens I saw overall, he had the attention, as did a few others on Columbus, of a slew of D1 coaches looking on. Played a good bit inside with his back to the basket, using real power and a frame built for contact. When he faced up, he was a runaway train, and an always physical Milton (GA) team was often helpless to stop his progress to the rim. With the Boozer brothers gone, Fisher is clearly stepping into the large void and looks like a good one.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125566' first='Roman' last='Avery'] | Guard | Mt Bethel | Georgia | 2027

Another good weekend showing for Avery, he like teammate Nate Robinson, has been putting together solid performances in front of coaches on the prowl this month. Has made his hay as a deadeye shooter, and that part of his game remains high-level, but now a more solid 6-foot-4, he has used the shot fake beautifully to create chances at the cup more often. Set for a potential breakout year with 2028 front-line stud [player_tooltip player_id='2436950' first='Peter' last='Julius'] occupying defenders on the interior for the Eagles.

Levi Ball | Guard | Gray Collegiate | South Carolina | 2026

Always make an appointment to see Gray when they come down to Georgia, and they didn't disappoint again. Ball was among the hottest shooters on Saturday, at one point in the first half he knocked down five straight 3-balls. Good size, very savvy working his way open, he has the look of a college 2-guard already. Good defender, rebounds from the backcourt, makes sound decisions, checks a bunch of boxes you'd like.

Triston Edwards | Forward | Wilson Academy | Georgia | 2029

Didn't perhaps post eye-popping numbers when I saw Wilson vs Boiling Springs (SC), but he pops off the floor with a springiness that catches eyeballs, and his still very raw skillset showed off some intriguing moments. It's less for him right now about what he is than what he looks like he could be. A supreme athlete, 6-foot-8 as an incoming freshman, runs like a gazelle and finishes with a flourish. The offensive items further from the basket have time to marinate, and Wilson develops young guys like him really well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2085759' first='Bobby' last='Buggs'] | Guard | Dutchtown | Georgia | 2026

Have had a chance to see Buggs since he was an 8th-grader, and the offensive diversity was never in doubt even back then. Great to see him develop into the complete guard he is now, a terrific scorer who has a pure stroke from multiple distances and the offensive IQ to make things happen at multiple speeds. Never looks rushed but moves so well, has a great combo of classic old school type moves in the mid-range with all of today's deep shooting range and clever floaters and banks in closer. It's not breaking news to say he's on a lot of radars, and look for this Dutchtown team to be really tough making a run in 4A after 26 wins this past winter, and an earlier exit from the bracket than they would've liked.
