Brandon has elite athleticism and great defensive versatility. He has elite length for a wing, and although you see people label him as a forward, I think his true home in the future will be as a big wing. Brandon does well rotating and protecting the rim, and he can also knock down catch and shoot threes. Brandon rebounds well and does well finishing at the rim. Brandon needs to get stronger, but he is one of the best prospects in Maryland. He had a combined 30 points and 10 rebounds in two games.

[player_tooltip player_id='2454529' first='Junior' last='Mancho'] is consistent in the way he competes and how he approaches the game overall. Junior a had huge impact for Mt. Carmel against Father Judge. Junior's motor is always great, and you saw that with what he did on the glass. He consistently created second-chance opportunities and had some good finishes inside. I loved how much he talked on defense, and I think he does a good job as a defensive anchor. Junior had 18 points and 15 rebounds.

Father Judge's Max Moshinski was one of the most impressive wings I saw. Max is a good spot-up shooter and does well putting the ball on the floor and attacking the rim. He is a good athlete and is terrific in the open floor, handling the ball and getting easy buckets at the rim. He is nice size, and someone people should keep their eye on. Max had a combined 30 points, 7 assists, and 18 rebounds in two games.

Another Father Judge player who caught my eye is Derrick Morton-Rivera. Derrick is a high-level shooter, and even though it's where he did most of his work, he is much more than that. Derrick has great speed and does well getting to the rim, blowing by players. He is a tough finisher who doesn't mind playing through contact. Derrick had 49 points in two games.

I've watched [player_tooltip player_id='1956028' first='Khalib' last='Norcome'] a couple of times for Clinton Grace over the past few weeks, and I love what I've seen from him. Khalib has a great motor and plays with an exciting level of aggressiveness. Khalib is an excellent defender and rebounder and has nice size as a wing. Khalib is a good driver and uses his athleticism well when he's at the rim. He had 29 points and 12 rebounds in two games.

Gonzaga has a lot of new players, and I was excited to see what this team looked like. David Mbuyamba is one of the returners, and he was terrific for Gonzaga. David is extremely physical and has a good post bag. His strength and touch were on display all day, and he moves well laterally. David is a guy who is always getting better, and as a rising Sophomore, I don't think he's anywhere close to what he will be. David had 12 points and 10 rebounds against DeMatha.

[player_tooltip player_id='2353549' first='Jordan' last='Taylor'] just transferred to St. John's a few weeks ago, and he had a solid day in his first action with his new team. Jordan has an outstanding motor, and his effort pays off on both ends of the floor. Jordan is a powerful finisher at the rim, and that's where he does most of his work as a scorer. Jordan's activity on the glass and defense is why he is on the court right now. Jordan had an efficient 14 points and 5 rebounds in a blowout win over Patriot.
