252 Invitational 16U Wing/Forward Standouts

At the event, we were able to check out some of the top players in the area code all playing under one roof. King Williams had a solid scoring repertoire over the weekend that included floaters, mid range jumpers, a few three pointers and he even showed the athleticism to get up for a dunk in transition. He was an absolute problem to keep off the offensive boards, using his large frame to seal off guys for easy putbacks and tip ins. Batts impacted the game in multiple ways on both sides of the ball, defensively he was all over the floor averaging 3 stocks per game. Jordan did a bulk of his work on the inside slashing to rim off cuts and attacking off the dribble aggressively. Defensively he did his share, keeping other forwards away from the rim and doing a solid job overall rebounding. He's a long lanky forward prospect who's super active on the boards and around the rim. Listed at 6'4 he has a solid feel for the offensive end of the floor that extends out to the three point line and a nice motor when attacking the glass as well. Some added bulk to his 6'6ish frame made him a tough cover to keep away from the rim both offensively and defensively. He threw down some nice dunks and had his own personal 8-0 run in a heated Saturday night contest.
