Expert Analysis
Tre Cordon | Prep Hoops Scout
Consistent efficient play on both ends earned him a nod on the all tournament team. Jordan did a bulk of his work on the inside slashing to rim off cuts and attacking off the dribble aggressively. Defensively he did his share, keeping other forwards away from the rim and doing a solid job overall rebounding. Averaged a solid 11.7 points and 5 rebounds per game.

Matthewson has been an integral part to Martin County’s success, as he leads the team in scoring and rebounding. His numbers of 17.5 PPG and 6.5 RPG are outstanding for a freshman, and a lot of his advanced performances for his age comes from his athleticism. His 6’3, 200 pound frame allows him to attack older guys as well as excel on the gridiron, where he already holds multiple D1 offers. He’s a name to watch as he continues to blossom into a scorer, defender, and rebounder for the Knights.
