He never panics with the ball in his hands. He handled the press really well as the main PG for his team. Sometimes Schaffer had to pull out every trick in the book to get by the press defense all by himself. He was very physical when he attacked defenders and never got bumped off of his spot. Hud was extremely fast on the floor even without the ball. He pushed the tempo for his team and made it tremendously difficult for the defense to matchup the way they want to. He used his length to attack the defense and scored at will. Richards played every single position on the floor for his team and dominated on all 3 levels. He let the 3 ball fly from way out which opened up the drive for himself. He was able to hit his pull up jumpers throughout the day. Jaxson's energy on defense takes his team to the next level. He created his own looks by utilizing his step back. Martinez also did a really good job attacking the teeth of the defense and finding his open teammates for simple finishes. He sent multiple shots the other way when players attempted to drive into the paint. Brisby crashed the glass offensively and defensively. He was the best rebounder on the floor! He showcased his wonderful footwork when he caught the ball on the block. Jayden's ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the cup is out of this world. Late in the first half of the semifinals Gad had a huge chase down block! He then went on a 5 point run all by himself. After a steal and an easy layup Gad immediately created another turnover and finished strong at the rim to complete the and 1 play. Gad used the great spacing that Sandia has on the floor to sneak behind the defense for a few easy layups off of his back door cuts.
