Aiden was the best overall post player I was able to watch this weekend in the younger divisions at Space City this weekend. Lusane has good footwork and knows how to finish at a high clip under the basket. He had about 5-6 blocks in the win over Team Locked In 15u during Sunday afternoon and made several key dunks as well, helping his team keep the momentum and the crowd on their side. Lusane has a high motor as well, filling lanes correctly on the fastbreak and posing a problem for the defense.

Zavier was the definition of a true "hustle and grit" player in the 1018 Lions close loss to East Houston Hoops. Holman grabbed a lot of second chance rebounds and finished several and-one buckets in the paint. He made sure to make the most of his opportunities at the line and kept his team in the contest with his aggressive play on both sides of the ball. Holman definitely had his stock rise this weekend with his key rebounding and fundamental defense.

JD Humphries was the most dynamic athlete I watched on the [program_tooltip program_id='2075520' first='Houston' last='Raptors'] 15u squad as they competed against their own [program_tooltip program_id='2075520' first='Houston' last='Raptors'] 17u team on Sunday afternoon. Jeremiah had several tough off the dribble jumpers that he converted for easy points and made the defense pay if they gave him space. Most of the time, opponents were faceguarding him the entire weekend and would not leave him open, so he moved without the ball and was able to create multiple shots for himself and teammates. As a freshman at Cy Falls this year, many who watched him play can argue that Humphries was one of the most impactful, if not the most impactful, freshman in greater Houston basketball this year. I expect for him to continue riding this insane wave of high-level play and

[player_tooltip player_id='2386706' first='LaMarcus' last='Leday'] was the most physical and aggressive defender on the floor for East Houston Hoops this weekend. He was also an important piece of helping to run the offense and help facilitate for others. Leday was a consistent force driving to the rim and finishing layups/floaters over defenders. LaMarcus is a top-notch energy player who will always give 100% when he is on the court and will definitely make it onto radar soon if he has not already.

Marley was a dynamic combo guard for [program_tooltip program_id='2075520' first='Houston' last='Raptors'] 17u in their Sunday win over the [program_tooltip program_id='2075520' first='Houston' last='Raptors'] 15u. Maxwell can hit perimeter jumpers and make some tough midrange buckets. Marley is never afraid to play full court defense and match up 94 feet against his opponents. He has a good motor and will never stop playing to the fullest extent when he is on the court. He will have a big season ahead of him at St. Francis Episcopal and his hard work is definitely paying off.
