<p>Volcano Vista standout [player_tooltip player_id='2111977' first='David' last='Lunn'] III, who has helped lead the Hawks to consecutive Class 5A state championships in his first two years with the varsity, has been offered by New Mexico State, Lunn announced on social media Friday afternoon, Even though he still has two years of high school basketball ahead of him, the 6-foot-4, 200-pound Lunn has already surpassed 1,000 career points. </p>

<p>Lunn is playing for Team Thrill UAA this summer. He has also been offered by West Virginia of the Big 12. The Mountaineers offered Lunn before the start of his sophomore season. </p>
