The top performer from Illinois this weekend was the highest ranked 2026 prospect in the event. This Glenbard West small forward was spectacular from the jump recording 41 points against Ignite in an absolute epic showing. Got whatever he wanted whenever he wanted it. Three ball and pull ups in the mid-range were crisp elevating over defenders. The ball skills have greatly improved which he showed regularly slashing to the cup for buckets in the paint. Quality perimeter defender with his length along with being good helping. Trending as a D1 prospect and is primed for a big June.

[player_tooltip player_id='2435304' first='Ledarrel' last='Goss'] (UEBL)

Goss was one of the revelations of the event. The Perspectives Joslin 6'3” shooting guard was spectacular with his wiry athleticism off the bounce. Burst getting to the rim over and over again. Scored at will in transition, hitting a few jumpers, and impacting on the defensive end. Also was a solid passer in their opening win where he had 21 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2832915' first='Grant' last='Poorman'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2414566' first='Mike' last='Glennon Elite'])

Poorman was a prospect we didn't know much about, but the St. Ignatius small forward put his name on the map. Strong frame and is aggressive taking it to the rim for scores. Also has a good passing feel. When one of our other scouts was watching he dropped 30+ in a game. Going to be a key piece for Iggy next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2432328' first='Adrian' last='Riep'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2075527' first='Ignite' last='Hoops'])

Continue to be impressed with the consistency out of Riep game in and game out. Skilled wing with toughness that wins on straight line takes, spin moves, and finishes through contact. Quality shooter that hit several threes and turnaround jumpers.

Kenaz Jackson Jr ([program_tooltip program_id='2219307' first='1' last='Dream Basketball'])

This Kankakee wing is one of the more quietly consistent 2026 perimeter prospects out there. Skilled and athletic small forward that when his three ball is falling like it was in the game we caught he is super tough to guard. Feathery stroke on the shot and can hit tough mid-range shots as well. Smooth ball handler that can create in that way as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2217958' first='Drew' last='Lundberg'] (M14 National 1)

Like what we saw out of the West Aurora shooting guard over the weekend. Showcased more feel as a passer along with being able to play some on the ball. He is a big time shot maker as a spot up threat along with moving without the ball. That is the strength of his game. The growth in his handles and creativity as a scorer off the bounce along with playmaking feel was what really caught our attention.

[player_tooltip player_id='2454180' first='Brady' last='Hairald'] (Illinois Stars)

Hairald is just a flat out bucket getter! The Minooka guard is a crafty scorer that has a knack for scoring in the lane using his body control. Plus shooter especially in the mid-range where he popped quite a few shots for buckets. Pushed in the open floor and found his teammates.
