UEBL Wolves Stage Epic Comeback Behind Breakout Wings

First game of the evening saw Illinois T-Wolves race out to an early lead, but the fire power on the perimeter for UEBL Wolves would not relent. They came all the way back to down a bucket with the clock ticking down when Perspectives Joslin 6'4” wing [player_tooltip player_id='2435471' first='Darius' last='McKinney'] rose up to bang in a pull up three to give his team the 54-53 win. It was a super dramatic shot with a celebration to match. [player_tooltip player_id='2435304' first='Ledarrel' last='Goss'] was spectacular in the victory. The fellow Perspectives Joslin wing stands about 6'3” with a ton of juice to his game. He poured in crisp jumpers from two and three. Also was electric off the bounce and in transition. Liked the passing instincts a lot as he made some excellent passes threading the needle and was willing to feed others while he was on a heater. Solid perimeter defender as well as he had 21 points in the win. McKinney is another prospect to track. He jumps off the floor with his projectability and length. Clean shot from three which he also hit a tough short turnaround. Was active defensively creating turnovers and being a force in transition netting 16 points. Both prospects will be in our next rankings update of 2026.

The T-Wolves got a big first half from [player_tooltip player_id='2388062' first='Justin' last='Paszkowski']. The Plainfield East 6'0” 2026 shooting guard poured in array of shots from distance while mixing in a soft touch finishing game for 13 points. Oswego East 6'3” shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2823709' first='Brelen' last='Hudley'] had some moments as the game went on. Wiry wing that wins on straight line takes and hit a three. Bolingbrook 2027 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2104717' first='Gyles' last='Agyeman'] came off the bench aggressively hitting a pair of threes and mixing it up.

[program_tooltip program_id='2414566' first='Mike' last='Glennon Elite'] 17U Trio Enough to Edge Past All-In Athletics

It was an uphill battle for [program_tooltip program_id='2414566' first='Mike' last='Glennon Elite'] 17U early in their contest as they were shorthanded, but they got big time performances from a trio of Catholic League emerging names to lead them to a 53-50 over All-In Athletics. Zachary Grabowski from Brother Rice is a scrappy 6'2” shooting guard that can really let it fly from distance with a clean stroke. Also showed more aggressiveness off the bounce scoring on several tough takes for 15 points. Mt. Carmel combo forward Luke Seagroves continues to impress this spring. The coaches son is a skilled forward that can pass to cutters, has touch around the hoop, and rebounds well in his area as he netted 11 points. [player_tooltip player_id='2832915' first='Grant' last='Poorman'] is a strong bodied wing from St. Ignatius that should see a role for Iggy this season. Tough kid that is physical getting downhill and flashed some off ball passing while scoring 10 points.

Early on it was Wisconsin product Jayden Paul who carried the load for AIA. The shifty lefty plays with good pace and quickness. He banked in a couple threes while also showing off some shake notching 16 points. [player_tooltip player_id='2831357' first='Ricardo' last='Requena'] of Fremd had 17 points in the loss. Gritty scoring lead guard that got to his spots and rose up for mid-range jumpers and nifty finishes in the paint.

Bardo Basketball 16U Scores OT Victory Against [program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='Meanstreets' last=''] National

Our next contest was a 16U all Illinois match up that went to OT seeing Bardo Basketball win over [program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='Meanstreets' last=''] National 60-58. The prospect that jumped off the floor to us was South Elgin 6'4” 2027 forward [player_tooltip player_id='2750030' first='Kyle' last='Mann']. Long and rangy frame which suggests he probably isn't done growing. Floor stretcher hitting multiple threes in the win. More than just that as he handled it in transition and was a force defensively swatting shots. Active and aware defender had 10 points. His high school teammate [player_tooltip player_id='2848221' first='Aman' last='Chiluka'] of South Elgin shot it well from distance as the 6'0” guard made four triples in the win going for 12 points while also making some solid passes. A third South Elgin prospect in [player_tooltip player_id='2847711' first='Massimo' last='Nalbono'] stepped up huge down the stretch. Got the steal and bucket to tie the game late along with hitting a key three in OT.

On the [program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='Meanstreets' last=''] National side Terez Terrell was their star. The Crane 6'2” guard is a physical thick bodied guard that goes right at the defense like a running back over and over again. Finished well through contact along with getting on the offensive glass for 19 points. Amare Houston of Homewood Flossmoor had some moments as a big bodied undersized post that mauled on the offensive glass for three put backs along with a sick and-1.

Lundberg Continues to Show Growth

Caught the first half of M14 National 1 17U game to close out the night. West Aurora 2026 shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2217958' first='Drew' last='Lundberg'] has been on our radar for sometime now. Mostly known as a sharp shooter off the catch he showed some ability to play on the ball and win off the dribble with improved handles on Friday night. We will continue to monitor him this weekend!
