It was great to be back on the PrepHoops circuit after a month off. My life has been very busy lately. But I'm happy to be back for the next two weeks.

I got to see a lot of exciting prospects throughout Saturday, hailing from all over the midwest. I have a ton of evaluations from today's games that I'll post over the next few days. But I've nailed this list down to some of the best performers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2813779' first='Henry' last='Pomis']

Pomis had an excellent morning for Ignite 15u en route to a comfortable win. His ability to break past defenders should not go unnoticed. Nailed a pair of inside scores midway through the second half. One of which was a floater over two taller players. Also buried a 3-pointer to kick off a big ignite run. He's only 5'8” right now. But has tons of room to grow.

[player_tooltip player_id='1975416' first='Khaliq' last='Austin']

He showed exactly why he's the top 15u prospect in North Dakota. Already has the build and size to be an impactful player at the collegiate ranks. Crazy explosiveness with the ball with some easy blow-by's. Caps that off with acrobatic finishes at the rim. Also extended his range for a few outside buckets. His ability to share the ball and make everyone else better might be his best quality. Super unselfish guard and never seemed to lose that confidence throughout the contest. Probably had a triple-double in this game (I wish I tracked) in addition to 31 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2548370' first='Trason' last='Terry']

North Dakota's #2 prospect also shined vs GB. A true two-way, three-level scorer. Something you don't say often. His speed off the ball might be the best part of his game. Getting tons of points off assists on offense while stopping fast breaks on the defensive end. Terry orchestrated a big 2nd half run to give Pack their largest lead of the game after trailing for much of the contest. Great length and excellent close-out defender. Finished with 22 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2811700' first='Brandon' last='Bollow']

Bollow was a bucket-getter this morning vs Pack. Had a big first half with 12 points. Much of that coming off an ability to free himself up both inside and on the perimeter. Making it easy for his teammates to get him the ball. Defense really stepped up in the 2nd half. At one point blocking the same player twice in the same possession. Communication skills defensively were also on-point.

Demetri McGhee

McGhee's a high-energy forward who changed the game vs [program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='Meanstreets' last='']. Frustrated opponents on the inside with his length and defensive footwork. Found the bucket from all three levels offensively, too. Showcasing a smooth touch around the rim on several instances. Also nailed a contested 3-pointer in the 2nd half.

[player_tooltip player_id='2820374' first='Bear' last='Harris']

Explosive combo for Space City that contributed in a variety of ways. Led the team in scoring with 17 points in a win vs [program_tooltip program_id='2078449' first='Meanstreets' last='']. Harris has crazy speed going up and down the floor made it easy for his teammates to find him in transition. Also became a factor on the boards with some tough rebounds. Putting back a second-chance opportunity to help expand the lead late. The game was tight for a while, but Harris propelled a big run in the 2nd half.

Alex Loos

It was a big day for one of Minnesota's top 2028 prospects. Had a big 1st half vs Era in the top pool. Knocking down three consecutive triples en route to a 17-point performance. Got to watch him more in the afternoon vs Lockdown. Showcasing a unique ability to create his own shot. Already has tons of strength for someone his age. Good explosiveness with the ball. Physical defender and super aggressive on the boards.

[player_tooltip player_id='2722141' first='Ja' last='']'Kari Lovelady

There wasn't a player who matched the energy brought to their game the way Lovelady did. He showed so much passion with his vocalism and full-pressure defense from the tip vs FVV elite. This Michigan guard displayed so much pace offensively with blazing speed down the lane. His ability to make plays as a passer shouldn't go unnoticed either.
