<p>Spring is in full bloom. There are some prospects in this group who have carved out a name for themselves with good play on the court. As we make our way through Spring, heading into the Summer, PH NorCal will see as many prospects as we can. Here are some of the prospects that will go on the Watch List.</p>

<p><strong>Chuka Achinulo </strong>6'4 2028 DBC Roaddawgs: Envision Academy<br> A long wing prospect still growing into his body and learning how to play on balance. He did put the ball in the basket setting up in different areas on the court, using his dribbles and his length to finish around the basket. He handles and runs in transition, will finish or make the pass up.</p>

<p><strong>Malik McKenzie </strong>6'6 2028 DBC Roaddawgs: Envision Academy<br>Standing 6'6 and long, he's still learning how to play basketball. He has the length to be a distraction in the paint with better movement, he has the length to get out on corner shooters. He'll go for rebounds, find his ball handlers, then make his way up court. He'll set up as a target in the post.</p>

<p><strong>Ryan Grilli </strong>6'3 G/F 2027 Soquel, Esface College Prep 16u<br>Sets up along the perimeter, takes a handoff, turns the corner using hard dribbles to the basket. He runs across the lanes setting up on the perimeter, shot ready for 3pt shots he can hit. He's got lengthy arms to clog the passing lane, he gets out with a hand up on 3-point shooters. He'll drive and kick or shoot the paint jumper.</p>

<p><strong>Caleb Bandal </strong>6'4 F 2027 Serra, Slicon Valley Soldiers Elite 16u <br>A good size wing/forward moves well along the perimeter, slashing/cutting across the lane making himself a target. He hit the paint jumper, gets wide to receive on the low block, he turns strong to go up. He sets hard to get around screens, he'll free up a shooter. He runs wide can hit the 3ptr in transition. A good size body to defend in the post and snatch rebounds.</p>

<p><strong>Ashton Tam</strong> 6'1 2027 G, Homestead, Silicon Valley Soldiers 17U Select<br>He had a lot of strong drives to the basket after squaring up, finishing in different ways including a jump stop off two. He moves well without the ball making hard cuts to the basket. He has decent handles, brings the ball up court, uses screens to free himself up for 3's out on the perimeter.</p>

<p><strong>Levi Brown </strong>6'0 2027 G, Yellow Jackets 16u, Jesuit<br>He's an active guard gives good effort on both ends of the court. He runs to finish in transition, he'll use his dribble to get into the paint for the short jumper from the perimeter. He ran point setting the offense in half-court. He applies ball pressure full court, helps weak side and stays in front.</p>

<p><strong>Josiah Anderson </strong>5'10 2027 PG, Elk Grove, Yellow Jackets 16u<br>A excellent ball handler with speed and a quick first step, he'll use crossovers, and a good first step to get by defenders into the paint. He uses his speed and dribble pushing it up court, he has good court vision to see his mates. Had a nice show and go on the mid-range off the dribble. Moves well on defense. He's long still growing.</p>

<p><strong>Noah Ladrech </strong>6'3 W/F, De La Salle, Infinite 16u Gold<br>A long rangy prospect will probably grow a couple more inches. He has a skill set that he can continue to develop. He did some handling in open court, runs wide in transition, he finished layups. He has a two dribble drive with long strides to get to the basket. He'll find open space, be shot ready to shoot 3's. He hit a couple of big one's when needed.</p>

<p><strong>Royce Pennington</strong> 6'2 SG 707, Vallejo, 707 Premier 16u<br>He's a mover, uses screens and cuts going to the basket. He'll find openings for a shot or make the extra pass. He squares up, has range to knock down 3's. He gets wide ready to shoot along the perimeter in transition, he'll take the layup if its there. <br></p>
