PICTURED: [player_tooltip player_id='1519805' first='King' last='Hubbard']-JaMichael Blair (L-R)

Bearden teammates [player_tooltip player_id='1519805' first='King' last='Hubbard'] and JaMichael Blair Jr. signed to Roane State Community College.

The two played wing for the Bearden Bulldogs and won plenty of games throughout their careers. Bearden won 28 games last season and 28 the year prior. The Bulldogs won a difficult District 4 in 2024-2025, winning 9 out of their 10 district games. Oak Ridge was able to end their wonderful season March 4th in a riveting game.

JaMichael Blair Jr. was a former PrepHoopsTN Combine All-Star.

Roane State is a community college in Harriman, Tennessee coached by Alan Holt and Assistant John McAllister. They compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) against some talented teams. Last season Roane State finished 11-7 in conference and 19-10 overall. All nine conference teams are located in Tennessee.

[player_tooltip player_id='1769962' first='Towan' last='Siler'] (Wilson Central) also signed to Roane State earlier this spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='1519805' first='King' last='Hubbard'] finished his high school career ranked #21 in the state, while Blair Jr. landed #51. Both project as a shooting guards in college.

[player_tooltip player_id='2133808' first='Malachi' last='Jordan'] earned an offer from Vanderbilt Friday. Jordan was the #1 prospect in Tennessee a couple of years ago but left the rankings when he moved to Missouri to play for Link Academy. Link is a prep school, basically a basketball factory that calls itself a basketball-focused boarding school. Link Academy won 2023 Men's GEICO National Championship and the 2025 Nike EYBL Scholastic Conference Tournament Championship. Anyway, Malachi moved home this winter and will compete for an undecided upon high school next season. He runs with Mokan 16u on the EYBL circuit, which is the highest level of AAU basketball.

"After a great conversation with Coach Mark Byington, I am blessed and honored to say that I have received an offer from Vanderbilt Commodores...Super honored ... Only the beginning man! Anchor Down" - [player_tooltip player_id='2133808' first='Malachi' last='Jordan']

[player_tooltip player_id='2133808' first='Malachi' last='Jordan'] holds many D1 offers: Vanderbilt, Arizona State, Texas Tech, Tennessee, Tennessee State. TSU was the first to offer Jordan.

[player_tooltip player_id='2133808' first='Malachi' last='Jordan'] took two unofficial visits to Tennessee in February, and they are probably his favored school of the offered schools so far.

[player_tooltip player_id='2747408' first='Cooper' last='Jordan'] (Hendersonville) verbally committed to Trevecca Nazarene University this week. Cooper is a grinder with high energy and wonderful toughness. He could play either wing spot at TNU. Trevecca offered him earlier this month.

Cornell University invited [player_tooltip player_id='2139567' first='Avery' last='Coles'] (White House Heritage) to their Elite Camp. Avery is 6-foot-11 and ranked #28 in the Class of 2026. There are currently 32 articles including [player_tooltip player_id='2139567' first='Avery' last='Coles'] on PrepHoops.com with this making 33.

Jeremy Jackson Jr. (Columbia Academy) re-committed to Trevecca Nazarene University this week. Jackson Jr. signed with TNU in the fall, but their head coach left for Lipscomb University. Trevecca Nazarene University Assistant Coach Nathan Moran stepped into the head coaching role. Largely because he was the primary recruiter for Jeremy Jackson Jr., Jeremy felt comfortable sticking with his choice.

MJ Gibbs (Ezell-Harding) signed with Vol State Community College.

https://twitter.com/MjGibbs24/status/1920304805773189399

PrepHoopsTN is hosting the annual PrepHoopsTN Combine June 22nd, 2025 in Cleveland, Tennessee.
