[player_tooltip player_id='2826484' first='Coby' last='Sims'] offensively excelled at being an aggressive driver against ProSkills Dallas. Nobody really attempted to stop Coby on his way to the basket due to his ability to finish plays despite absorbing contact. In half court sets Coby was willing to do what it took for his team to win by hustling on the offensive glass when it matters most especially in the second half. Coby also showed the ability to shoot perimeter shots comfortably, taking advantage of wide-open opportunities. Defensively Coby is a strong on ball defender with his strong frame.

One impressive thing I was able to pick up on watching [player_tooltip player_id='2558327' first='James' last='Barefield'] today was how good he was reading matchups beating big men off the dribble offensively. Being able to read matchups is huge for a player at his age. James makes plays for himself and others especially in transition. At times James showed flashes of a three-level scorer as I will watch him more over the weekend. Defensively James had his hands in a lot of defensive possessions for his team coming away with multiple steals.

If I had to pick the best player in the ProSkills Dallas vs Texas Ballers Elite, it would be Uriah McPherson. The reason why he was the best player in this game in my opinion is because he did a lot of small things well on both ends of the floor. He is very quick getting downhill, converting many of his layups with different defensive situations thrown at him. With the ball in his hands he can create his own shot, he has a step back move he uses quite well to create space getting his shot off in those situations. Defensively he was very active, hustling in passing lanes and stealing the ball just by covering the weak side.

[player_tooltip player_id='2837810' first='Gavin' last='McCain'] shot the ball very well from the perimeter for ProSkills Dallas in today's matchup against the Texas Ballers Elite. He contributed greatly by hitting big perimeter shots that continuously cut the lead in the game. Throughout the game it was evident that he was best suited in catch and shoot situations. On the defensive end Gavin communicated quite often as he was very vocal amongst his teammates, calling out different positions the opposing offense was in.

Nicholas Baldwin possesses a long wingspan that he uses to deflect passes in passing lanes and get to the basket at will. Offensively he got the basket multiple times in today's matchup contributing greatly despite the loss. Nicholas can cover a lot of ground in tight spaces coming away with steals. I'm looking forward to seeing more from him as the weekend continues!
