[player_tooltip player_id='2353606' first='Amani' last='Asare'] is an elite scorer. Amani has all the qualities that high-skill natural scorers have where they can not be having their best day but still find ways to score. Amani has a great jump shot, but when it's not falling, he gets to the rim and uses his craftiness to get to the line. He has a great handle and uses his speed to blow by defenders. Amani hits tough shots and has as good shot-making ability as any small guard in NOVA. Amani is a great passer as well. Amani had a combined 37 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists in two Potomac wins.

[player_tooltip player_id='2879944' first='Dominic' last='Mack'] has been the most consistent player for Potomac, and he has been one of the better wings in the summer league. Dominic has shot the ball really well from three, and he has done a good job attacking the rim. Dominic is a great defender who can guard 1-4, and he has done a good job on the glass. Dominic has been a defensive playmaker all summer league, but I felt like his defense stood out as much as anyone on the court today. He had 17 points in both games and had a combined 6 steals and 4 blocks in 2 games.

Glenelg Country dominated St. John's Catholic today, and it started with their defense. They picked up players full court, and they didn't let SJC get much space. [player_tooltip player_id='1977823' first='Drew' last='Harris'] was excellent for Glenelg on both ends, and he forced a handful of turnovers. He turned his defense into a lot of easy buckets in transition for himself, and his length gave SJC a lot of problems. Drew finished with 21 points.

The Landon vs. Potomac game was a really nice watch. Eli McQueen was one of the standouts for me. Eli has a nice jump shot and is a crafty finisher, which is something you kind of need at his size. Eli has a high IQ, and the ball never sticks to his hands too long. Eli is entering his Sophomore year, and if he grows a few more inches, he could definitely play both guard positions. Eli finished with 20 points and 7 rebounds.

Another Landon guard I like is Ubie Zaid. Ubie has been a player that has caught my eye all summer league. Ubie hasn't shot the ball well for most of the summer league, but his passing and on-ball defense have been outstanding. He has hounded opposing guards, and he's consistently made the right play. Ubie had 7 points and 10 assists, and he does a lot of the things you look for from a small guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='2347783' first='Carson' last='Cook'] is the type of wing/guard that can fit at most programs at the next level. He is a reliable spot-up shooter who can defend. He can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim when teams run him off the line. Carson has terrific range and can shoot the ball while moving. Carson is a good athlete, and by looking at him, you can tell he is strong. Carson had 12 points and 8 rebounds for Patriot to help them stay undefeated.
