WESTMINSTER — Last weekend marked the first live viewing period of the spring where college coaches of all levels were packed in gyms across the country to evaluate and recruit prospects. We stayed on the West Coast and spent two days at the Cali Live Spring Showcase. Below are the standout wings, forwards and centers we watched.

Achilles Orji | 2028 | A.C.E.S

Orji looks to be one of the most promising forwards in SoCal's 2028 class and our next rankings update will reflect that. The 6-foot-7 four-man has a long, wiry frame, great end-to-end athleticism and has quick-twitch instincts defensively when protecting the rim. Orji is best as a rim-runner and finisher offensively, but showed some touch to the three-point line off the catch with time and space.

Christian Benjamin | 2026 | Cali Rebels Elite

Benjamin was a key member of Roosevelt's historic season where they swept Open Division championships at the Southern Section and State levels. The 6-foot-8 forward is a pogo stick vertical athlete who uses it to be a legitimate lob finisher, rebounder and rim protector. Benjamin's combination of size and athleticism makes him an intriguing prospect at the next level.

Brenton Banister | 2026 | California Stars Black

Banister provided the highlight of this event with a downhill drive to the middle of the floor that resulted in a nasty poster dunk. The 6-foot-5 wing out of Santa Monica high school is best as a transition slasher and finisher whose ability to elevate quickly off the floor limits the effectiveness of rim protectors.

[player_tooltip player_id='1606063' first='Brody' last='Rygh'] | 2026 | [program_tooltip program_id='2248856' first='Players' last='Only'] (OR)

Rygh is a smooth and skilled 6-foot-6 wing who is considered one of the top prospects in Oregon. The Sherwood High product possesses fluid and fundamental shooting mechanics which translate to a consistent off-catch shooting ability from three-point range. Rygh also showed the ability to attack and score on straight-line drives.

[player_tooltip player_id='2520869' first='Curtis' last='Harmon'] | 2027 | Stockton Soldiers

Harmon has an intriguing combination of size, physicality and skill. The 6-foot-6 wing is a versatile offensive player who uses his strong frame to bully smaller defenders to the rim and finish through contact but he also has the ball skills to pull bigger, slower defenders away from the rim and score inside and outside.

[player_tooltip player_id='2571719' first='Ekene' last='Anyiam-Osigwe'] | 2025 | Cali Rebels Premier

Anyiam-Osigwe is one of the top remaining unsigned seniors in Southern California and he put together an impressive weekend at this event. The 6-foot-8 forward is a high energy and motor prospect who really crashes the offensive and defensive boards and impacts the defensive end with his lateral speed and length. Offensively, Anyiam-Osigwe showed improved touch around the rim and attacked the basket out of face-up situations.

Julian Cunningham | 2027 | California Stars 17 Black

Cunningham is a big man to track out west as he possesses a good combination of size, skill and mobility. The 6-foot-11 sophomore is a dexterous finisher around the rim who can score with either hand and showed the ability to stretch the floor to the three-point line off the catch with time and space.
