Prep Hoops is always on the road it seems watching games. Personally, this was my 8th straight weekend of Grassroots basketball since the high school season ended in early March. Who did we see as some Sunday Performers from the Myrtle Beach Jam here today. This would be a great time to SUBSCRIBE and find out right here by using the passcode "Swanny30" at checkout to save 30% off your first billing cycle. #RecruitThePalmettoState

D4G Trio Plays Well:

[player_tooltip player_id='1766947' first='Zamaurious' last='Robertson'], [player_tooltip player_id='2430899' first='Khalid' last='Sherman'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2629574' first='Khalil' last='Sherman'] played extremely well on Sunday in a win for the Horry County based squad. Robertson who plays at Dillon and the Sherman twins run with Loris HS both play in the same region during the high school season.

Robertson dropped 23 points while hitting 5 from downtown in a win over Free Game Elite we were able to watch here today. Zamaurious is extremely athletic and explosive at times when he isn't dialing in from long-distance from behind the three-point line. He excels on the football field in the fall for the Wildcats as a wide receiver.

[player_tooltip player_id='2629574' first='Khalil' last='Sherman'] added 18 points in the contest. The Sherman brothers bring a great competitive edge to the floor each time with their strong work ethic and determination. They both swarm the ball the ball on the defensive end of the floor to bring scoring opportunities going the other direction. Khalil and Khalid both play so active around the ball and look to make plays happen on both ends of the floor.

[program_tooltip program_id='2231960' first='Big' last='Shots SC'] Wins Big:

[player_tooltip player_id='1206192' first='Quh'mareon' last='Webb'] finished with 24 points in a lopsided win today over Team Unleashed. Webb a left-handed from North Augusta was scoring the rock from all 3 levels on the floor today. He scored on some uncontested layups and at times stalking the baseline. Quh'mareon dropped some mid-range jumpers along the way for the black and orange.

[player_tooltip player_id='2896360' first='Aaron' last='Adams'] Jr provided some muscle down low. Adams a left-handed power forward finished with 14 points while finishing with some short turnaround jumpers. Aaron has no problems at all using his body to stir up some contact. Adams a football prospect in the fall attends Midland Valley HS.

[player_tooltip player_id='2861505' first='Corbin' last='Guerry'] a power forward from West Ashley HS was able to finish around the rim today with 12 points. Corbin works hard inside the paint area and understands to play in the paint. He has no problems looking to battle for position and jumping on the deck from time to time for a loose ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1206190' first='Andre' last='Hagler'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2443450' first='Jamere' last='Singleton'] both contributed to the effort today for [program_tooltip program_id='2231960' first='Big' last='Shots SC'] Hagler a jet quick point guard was able to provide some crisp passing skills and get the ball downhill to the basket on a regular basis here today. Singleton is a fairly new addition to the roster after starting the Grassroots season with the [program_tooltip program_id='2078521' first='Palmetto' last='City Hurricanes']. Hagler attends Cane Bay HS while Singleton goes to Dreher HS.

Toronto Terror Holds On:

Waris Njoya a UNSIGNED SENIOR finished with 33 points in a win over [program_tooltip program_id='2842739' first='843' last='Tough'] here today. Toronto Terror went onto win the game 81-76 on Sunday morning. Njoya who attends Canada Topflight is a strong point guard who really can play physical going to the bucket. Njoya is a good leader on the floor and quite crafty with his playmaking skills at times. He really excelled getting the ball into the paint and touching the gaps when needed.

[player_tooltip player_id='1414724' first='Deuce' last='Kinloch'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1731675' first='John' last='Cleveland'] led the way for [program_tooltip program_id='2842739' first='843' last='Tough'] today. Kinloch finished with 22 points while playing around the paint area. The long and rangy Kinloch uses his length to contest and alter shots on the defensive end of the floor. Deuce who has a good set of hands was able to finish at good clip close to the bucket. He can step-out to the 15-17-feet and knockdown some jumpers when needed. Deuce brings good versatility to the floor for [program_tooltip program_id='2842739' first='843' last='Tough']. He at times just needs to play every possession like it's his last one on the floor.

Cleveland really excels getting the ball downhill to the bucket and especially from the left-side of the bucket. John is a slasher-deluxe with the ball in his hands. He connected on some short 1-dribble pull-up jumpers here today for [program_tooltip program_id='2842739' first='843' last='Tough']. John does a nice job of defending on the ball and won't hesitate a second when it comes to jumping on the deck for a loose 50/50 ball.

This duo of Kinloch and Cleveland both play at Berkeley HS in Moncks Corner.

[program_tooltip program_id='2298066' first='The' last='Private Snipaz'] Fall Short:

The Conway based team Private Snipaz fell short in a game vs Big Shots - 706 Elite (GA). [player_tooltip player_id='2044349' first='Trevon' last='Johnson'] a point guard is back in uniform with the local squad after starting the Grassroots season with Team Unleashed. Johnson a jet quick point guard really showed to have a first quick step to get by defenders on the way to the rack. He finished with 12 points in the loss today.
