The Class of 2029 are current 8th graders in middle school. A few players stood out today while I was in attendance watching games. [player_tooltip player_id='2856498' first='Tristan' last='Roberts'] really caught my eye from [program_tooltip program_id='2830220' first='Palmetto' last='Pride NXT Pro'] 14U. Roberts a forward attends Latta M.S. in the Pee Dee. Tristan was able to clean up on the glass at times today. He ran the floor well while filling the lanes in transition. Tristan understood where to be at all times down in the paint area. He finished with 14 points in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='2856505' first='Ethan' last='Pedrick'] plays in the Upstate at Wren M.S. while running with Ground Zero. Pedrick finished with 15 points in a tough loss today SPE Elite (GA). Ethan really understood on how to move the ball around the floor while also being very shot selective on his own part. He never seemed to force his shot while receiving in the pocket for a good look.

Class of 2028:

[player_tooltip player_id='2856521' first='Tyshawn' last='Mackey'] is certainly a new name for the database. Mackey who attends Legacy Early College really works at it when it comes to defending on the ball. He played active in the passing lanes all day long while picking up a few cheapies in return heading the other way. Tyshawn certainly played at his best going to the basket and attacking the cup. He runs with Team USC Premier 2028.

[player_tooltip player_id='1916764' first='Marcus' last='Brown'], [player_tooltip player_id='2454348' first='Elijah' last='McCaskill'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2455331' first='Cannon' last='Johnson'] all had some solid moments here today for [program_tooltip program_id='2076305' first='Manzer' last='Basketball Academy']. Brown plays his best hoops going to the bucket and generating production. Markus needs to work harder on defense at times.

McCaskill a left-handed guard was able to slash to the rack at times today. Elijah was able to knockdown a few jumpers along the way.

Johnson who attends Waccamaw HS made some heady plays at times today. Cannon at times today did get a little too fancy with the ball. This trio of players all should see some playing time next season at the varsity level down on the Grand Strand.

Head Coach Marques Sumner (North Augusta HS, USC-Salkehatchie, Stetson and Rogers State (OK) leads this program from the Grand Strand.

New Names for the Database:

Every event you watch you should ALWAYS be walking away with some new names from your state. I have been doing this 26 years - 21 years in South Carolina and I always can find a few new names in every stop.

Jordan Williams - Silver Bluff HS - Big Shots 706 Elite

The left-handed Williams plays over in the Western part of the Palmetto State. Williams a quick leaper was able to contest shots at times today on the defensive end of the floor. Jordan a undersized post did look to venture to the short corner for a jumper from time to time.

[player_tooltip player_id='2855828' first='Rasul' last='Karriem'] - Atlantic Collegiate Academy - [program_tooltip program_id='2298066' first='The' last='Private Snipaz']

Rasul really bought the energy at times with his game. He played the game a little chatty also at times. He likes to play attacking the basket and a bit of out control. He's certainly looks to score the rock when needed.

Andre Seay - Seneca HS - Team USC Premier 2028

Seay a point guard really did a nice job of taking care the ball here today. Andre was able to connect on some jumpers from the perimeter.
