2027’s on the Rise

This AAU season, a lot of players within the class have been stepping up and showing why they are a rising prospect in the state. Nunez has a high basketball IQ, being able to pick defenders apart and use his strength to get easy buckets. He plays physical defense, being able to guard all 5 spots by having the athleticism and agility to move his feet quickly. He creates well for his teammates, averaging over 3 assists a game last year and I wouldn't be shocked if that went up a few next year. He can score the ball well, being able to get down-hill smoothly but also have an excellent deep shot. He will have the ball in his hands more with [player_tooltip player_id='1451025' first='Leyton' last='Martin'] graduating but good thing for the Eagles, Crews rarely turns it over. He handles the ball well through traffic while keeping his head up to find his open teammates. He is a pass first guard who can score the ball when needed and put the ball in the bucket in a variety of ways. He stays patient with the ball in his hands, waiting to make the right decision that will get the bucket for his team. Burley can shoot it well too so defenders can't sag off him but with his quick first step, he could blow right by them.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
