Undefeated

Fury Reyes. This team..... just outstanding team basketball. Pool A, played several top ten level teams in the state, and the team basketball of this group led to another four victories.

[program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley']. The headliner was a 57-53 win over the top [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] team. Pulley gets the win and continues to hold a high standing year after year. They also beat an underappreciated Iowa Battlers team and a couple Iowa local squads by big numbers.

Fury DeLo. So many Fury teams in Pool A, DeLo moves to Pool B and upholds the program pride with four wins themselves. Four close first halves, four Fury controlled half twos.

Lace Up Black. When Lace Up Black is going they are a tough team to do deal with. We saw that this weekend and we saw that in St. Cloud.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075496' first='Grassroots' last='Sizzle'] Cruz. This was a very fun crew to watch led by [player_tooltip player_id='2569257' first='Marcus' last='Marshall'] Jr. Lots of 16s playing up and a lot of wins.

WOTN Kranz. Three double figure wins and a three score win over the Wisconsin Playmakers Prep Hoops team. Good team basketball from all the WOTN 17s.

Comets Landquist. The Comets won all three of their games in the Select Classic event over the weekend beating two [program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] teams and [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] Horn.

Quality 4-1/3-1 Run

Real Phenom. Quite a take note weekend for this team. They've now won 11 of 12 games this year taking on some good challenges this weekend and earning wins in most of those challenges.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota']. Faced two shoe teams from Adidas and two shoe teams from UAA in the Prep Hoops Chicago event and won three of the four games. Beat the UAA teams (Playground and Illinois Wolves) by double digits, they had one score games with the Adidas teams beating Breakaway and losing to Looney Power 5.

Minnesota Swish. When the swish have both Ethans, they are a tough team to beat. Earned wins in three of four games this weekend and the Ethans scored at will.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075496' first='Grassroots' last='Sizzle']. The Adidas Gold team was in the NY2LA event and won three games beating three Wisconsin teams (Pride Roc, Wisconsin Academy and Chapman) and they won two of those games by double figures.

Next Weekend!

The Scheels Prospect Series event is this weekend. The 17u level has a couple pool play games into a bracket. Of the 24 teams, 13 are from Minnesota and just about every one of those 13 teams are top 25 teams at 17u.

There is also a 50 team event in Sioux Falls this weekend that will include a few Minnesota teams including Powerhouse Minnesota.

There is EYCL/EYBL play in Indianapolis this weekend where [program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley'] will be, 3SSB is in Texas so that is where [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] will be, I would imagine that there is also other leagues playing where teams will be leaving the state as well.

And Finally, its the Meg Vang Memorial event weekend put on by the [program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] which often includes the rest of the local Minnesota teams playing within the state that are not in the Scheels League
