Undefeated

[program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley']'s top 16s beat the [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] 15u team by double figures, they beat All Iowa Attack's top team by double figures, and then knocked off the top Kingdom Hoops team (EYCL) and top Iowa United team (Adidas) as well! Excellent weekend for that group.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Zurn. These guys didn't just win the Comets Shootout, they won every game by double digits. The win was by a combined total of 126 points across the five games. Fury Zurn was easily the most dominant 16u team in that St. Cloud event of 44 16u teams.

Hoop Habits. In a 16u division of nine teams Hoop Habits beat a good Gateway Knights program by one score, they beat a Plamakers team by 50+, beat [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite'] by 23, and then had a nice one score win over the top Wisconsin Playmakers team.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] played up at 17u in Iowa, they won three games and then had a tough one against the All Iowa Attack 17u team that plays in the EYCL. But three wins playing up a level.

[program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] Stone made the final four of the Comets Shootout giving them six wins in eight games so far. A good quarterfinal win over [program_tooltip program_id='2821775' first='Buffalo' last='Legacy'] would be the highlight.

Powerhouse Minnesota went to Chicago and played in the third grouping of a deep event and beat teams from M14, All In Athletics, and Full Package with the one loss being by one point.

Comets Elite won three of four in St. Cloud making the semi-finals first beating Titans Johnson in a close game followed by a couple double figure wins including a 24-point win over Lightning Dahl.

Fury Goring. Made the elite eight in St. Cloud, got knocked out by SSA North Dakota (ECI) and then bounced back to beat the Lightning in the final game.

[program_tooltip program_id='2821775' first='Buffalo' last='Legacy'] won three of four highlighted by wins over what I think are the top teams or one of the top teams from both Select and Heat. Very good weekend for the Bison/Legacy crew.

Next Weekend!

Locally [program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] and [program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota'] look to be having events on Saturday on opposite sides of the metro. And there is a nice chunk of good teams going to play in the Appleton event in Wisconsin the third weekend of April. That includes teams from Takeoff and the [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'].
