Recruiting: 2026 Albuquerque Academy F/C offered by NNMC

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Former New Mexico Highlands basketball coach Michael Dominguez was hired as the new head coach at Northern New Mexico College on Wednesday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He wasted little time offering one of the state's top 2026 prospects.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Albuquerque Academy 6-foot-10 F/C <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1717250' first='Hunter' last='Aime']</strong>, who helped lead the Chargers to the semifinals of the Class 4A Tournament in March, picked up an offer from NNMC within a few hours after the school announced Dominguez's hiring.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Aime was offered by NM Highlands when Dominguez was still the coach of the Cowboys. The offer came after Aime scored 15 points and blocked 7 shots in Albuquerque Academy's quarterfinal tournament win.
