The grassroots season is officially underway and we hit the ground running on the Prep Hoops Circuit with “The Stage” at The Farmers Bank Fieldhouse in Lebanon. After three days in the gym, the Prep Hoops team got to see multiple prospects from many different states all in one roof. Through the weekend, I myself got to see multiple teams and was able to see many standouts. Here is part two of my standout list.

[program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] 16u has a ton of talented in-state guards on their roster and one of those guys is Brownsburg lead guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561114' first='Brandon' last='Addison']. What stood out to me when watching Addison at The Stage was his shiftiness as a on-ball guard. He is very quick moving side-to-side with the ball and because of that, he was able to get the defense off balance and make plays at the rim. He showed a lot of promise as a junior and is in for a very good summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''].

One of the top teams I watched over the weekend was BrothHERs2BrotHERs 16u and they had a lot of talent on their team with one of the standouts being 6'1 power forward [player_tooltip player_id='2399832' first='Kalieb' last='Session']. What stood out to me was his high motor and physical style in which he played in. Thought he defined very well and was no afraid to be strong around the rim to get a bucket he could. A big reason they got the dominant win in the game I watched.

BrothHERs2BrotHERs 16u also had one of the better 3-and-D type pf players I watched on the weekend in 6'1 shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2392984' first='DJ' last='Dallas']. Dallas was really good off the ball in the game I watched and had one of the more pure outside jumpers I saw. His floor vision on both ends also stood out to me in many ways as he did a good job of disrupting passing lanes and and getting to the right spots on offense. Enjoyed his game.

Like already mentioned, [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] 16u is a team full of talented in-state guard and one of those guys is Lawrence Central lead guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561118' first='Doron' last='Harris']. Speed is his strength and being able to to get downhill in hurry is what he does best. He is a "blink and you miss him" type of guard in the lane while also showing that he can be a sniper from behind the arc as well. He has a great feel for the game and he showed that over the weekend.

The first that stood out to me was that [player_tooltip player_id='2682806' first='Ty' last='Benton'] was build like a running back out there. While on the shorter end, he was one of the more natural athletic player in the gym and had a high motor to go with it. Real aggressive and quick in the lane and did show a little bit of a jumper as well. I like his fit for this Indiana Reign Supreme team.
