NorCal 2027 Rankings Update Newcomers

PH NorCal has released the updated version of the 2027 rankings. PH NorCal is always out, and about looking for new prospects to add to our growing list of prospects who deserve a ranking because of their productivity on the court.    A 6'4 point guard earned Honorable Mention in the Marin County League, while playing at Tamalpais. He does a solid job up top running the offense, good passing, and ball handling up top, he moves the ball around the perimeter, and into the post. He aggressively attacks the basket from the top, and different angles, handling contact, and finishing with points, and assists. He can hit the mid-range and 3ptr. He'll get a rebound.     A long wiry prospect with square shoulders, and lengthy arms. He can handle okay in the open court. He's aggressive looking for his shot opportunities, using his dribble to get mid-range, and paint jumpers, or closer to finish around the rim. He can work the baseline using drives to get layups, hit short corner jumpers, he'll hit the catch 3 from the corners. He has the length to get more rebounds.     A solid body power forward. He's an active post prospect going up strong for rebounds, and getting second chance points in the paint. He's on the raw side but will give good effort going after blocks, and defending the paint at the 16U level. He runs hard up the court looking to get in the mix for blocks, tap ins, and put backs. Plays with energy, more skill development is needed.     A balanced combo guard, plays well in a fast pace type of game. He takes care of the ball plays within the flow. He does a good job of handling, and keeping the ball moving up court, around the perimeter, and into the post. He has the foot speed, and lateral movement to stay on ball handlers in full court.       He's probably still developing his offensive skill set. He's a growing body at 6'2 plays physical with a chip on his shoulder. He gives good effort defending in and around the post area, doesn't mind body contact while working for rebounds, and points. He has good lateral movement defending on the perimeter. He can use a dribble or two for paint jumpers, and drives, he'll shoot the open shot. A two sport athlete (Football)     He was a solid contributor off the bench for the Monarchs. He has good speed defending out on the perimeter, sticking to ball handlers. He has good ball handling and passing skills, moves the ball around. He doesn't score a lot right now, but can get closer to the basket on the drive. He'll take the open jumper, hustle to fill lanes and get back on defense.     A good size prospect in the 2027 class. He has work to do but does have some tools to work with. He's a good passer working from the high post, he sets solid screens before heading to the block or popping out looking to shoot a 3pt shot. He's got a one two dribble he can use to get closer. He has the ability to hit the 3pt shot.     A good all around player at 6'2. He's a three sport athlete that gives good effort on the basketball court. He doesn't mind mixing it up for rebounds, and put back points. He's a hard court runner looking to fill lanes in transition. He can handle and pass along the perimeter, using hard dribbles to get to the rim. He defends     Still growing with a frame to fill. He's wiry, stronger than he looks, still raw and developing. He'll will be making the move up to varsity next season. He's an active post prospect at the 16U level standing 6'7. He rebounds, changes shots, has some post presence at this level, he can score inside with size and effort.
