A relentless end-to-end defender, Sutton was a tone-setter from the opening tip. Quick-twitch, locked in, and aggressive, he treated every inch of the floor like a battleground, disrupting rhythm, dictating tempo, and applying constant pressure. His knack for forcing turnovers, diving for loose balls, and creating extra possessions was crucial in a tightly contested game.
He maintained a low stance, kept choppy feet, and used active hands to turn ball-handlers multiple times up the floor. His lateral quickness and anticipation allowed him to cut off angles, funnel players into help, or force errors. Sutton had the stamina and motor to stick with ball handlers through screens and sharp directional changes. Offensively, he was a timely shot-maker, hitting key threes anytime the score got close, including a corner three in the final 40 seconds to seal the game. In the second game, he continued to show strong 3-and-D potential, knocking down catch-and-shoot threes with efficient mechanics even under pressure. When challenged physically, he welcomed contact, initiating it, absorbing it, and finishing through it while drawing the foul.

He moved the ball purposefully to shift the defense and create opportunities for his teammates. Myles used screens effectively to find gaps or attack off the bounce. The most unselfish player on the court, he consistently delivered precise passes, often threading the needle to hit teammates in stride or leading them into scoring positions. His decision-making and court vision were elite, making everyone around him better.
