<p>They don't waste any time jumping into the offseason in high school basketball. Soon after the state basketball tournament ended on March 15, many players began preparing for the summer circuit. They're already traveling and playing games. Here are some early spring standouts:</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2432180' first='Daylen' last='Holt'], West Mesa</strong>: Holt was impressive at the NxtPro Puma16 Tournament in Las Vegas, NV.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2313549' first='Evan' last='Nanez'], Cleveland</strong>: At the Denver Showcase, Nanez averaged 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 steals per game. Nanez is just a freshman. He's expected to have an impact for the Storm on the gridiron in the fall. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2026077' first='Elijah' last='Martinez'], Cibola</strong>: At the Denver Showcase, the Cibola sophomore averaged 18 points per game. In Game 1, he scored 24 points with 7 assists and 6 steals. In Game 3, he scored 22 points with 10 assists and 7 rebounds. </p>

<p><strong>Kannon Moore, Farmington</strong>: Just a freshman, he scored 17 points in one game at a recent tournament.</p>
