Annually the Chi-Town Tip Off is a must attend event for competition and coverage for Illinois teams. This year was no different. PHI had all five of our scouts in the gyms for this event. We continue our examination of the prospects here in Chi-Town Tip Off: Top Illinois Unsigned Seniors!

[player_tooltip player_id='1766472' first='Donte' last='Montgomery'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2452456' first='Mac' last='Irvin Fire'] 17U)

Montgomery is a born bucket getter! He puts it in the hoop at a super high rate. Did just that in the Fire's game against [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package']. Two guard that has a long and rangy frame. He is a creative scorer that can win off the dribble converting at the rim with acrobatic finishes or sweeping layups. Deep range on his three point shot which goes down consistently with a feathery touch. Flashes defensively as well guarding on the perimeter. D2s would be wise to take a look at this explosive scorer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1766460' first='Al' last='Brooks'] Jr ([program_tooltip program_id='2452456' first='Mac' last='Irvin Fire'] 17U)

Brooks is the top uncommitted prospect in the 2025 class from Illinois. He is a long and lanky athletic four man that brings it on both ends. In the game we saw he owned the game on the defensive end in the first half. Blocked jump shots, protected the rim, created havoc, got steals on entry feeds, and was cutting off passes. As an offensive player he scored in the open floor, posted up making quick moves including a right handed hook shot, and played off the glass for second chance points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1598786' first='Willie' last='Felton'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2219307' first='1' last='Dream Basketball'] 17U)

Felton is an athletic point guard from Bishop McNamara that should be a priority for small colleges. He is a leader that makes those around him better. Blows past his opponents off the bounce for scores at the rack with his slick handles and speed. Excellent instincts.

[player_tooltip player_id='1713735' first='Omari' last='Kamal'] (Chi-Town Bulldogs 17U)

Kamal is a smooth two guard from Lindbom. He brings good athleticism and two way ability to the table. Sound shooter from mid-range with crisp pull ups and poured them in at a high rate all weekend. Good in transition as well
