[player_tooltip player_id='2444025' first='Talen' last='Muscari'] is a name I heard throughout the 2023-2024 season as "the best middle schooler in the coalfield". I heard this so many times I knew there must be some truth to the hype, and did Muscari ever live up to his billing. The undersized freshman point guard put on a show on the Charleston Coliseum floor during the state tournament with dazzling dishes and scoring with ease over bigger defenders. Muscari has rose from an already impressive 16 and cracks the top ten at number ten.

[player_tooltip player_id='2425396' first='Javonte' last='Spencer'] appears to be on track to be a prolific scorer in the next couple years, maybe sooner than later. A true definition of combo-guard, Spencer can take on any role at the guard position and play it well. Spencer has had some excellent scoring games including some where he's lit it up from deep on multiple occasions. Spencer has moved from the 21st spot up to 13th.

[player_tooltip player_id='2754039' first='Brock' last='Green'] who most know as the gun-slinging freshman quarterback for the Indy Patriots, is also an equal force on the hardwood. Often recording double doubles in points and rebounds, Green presented a physical and active force inside for opponents to contend with. Greens high level and consistent play moves him from the watchlist to 24th.

[player_tooltip player_id='2739673' first='Parker' last='O'Dell'] has stepped right into shooter/scorer role for the Hurricane squad and put together several nice scoring games and ended the season averaging just over 14 points per game with 36% from three. O'Dell looks to lead the Redskins as their most potent returning outside threat with the graduation of his older brother.

[player_tooltip player_id='2721718' first='Travis' last='Owens'] has had a strong showing as a freshman, while not scoring a ton, being a solid and dynamic guard who's handled pressure and scored when needed. He looks to be the next in a long line of tough guards from the Pendleton program.
