2 Cities 1 GASO – Houston Game Changers Part One

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2 Cities 1 GASO Tournament was on full display last weekend with many talented AAU teams from various age groups coming together to show off their talents on the basketball court. With his hustle in the press defense, he scored multiple times at the rim while also making plays for his teammates. Offensively Javohn scored the ball on all the three levels efficiently especially when open from the perimeter. What impressed me most was Michael's motor with his minutes played as he makes a great impact on offense and defense. Offensively he changed the momentum in the first half scoring multiple times in the paint going up strong against the Miles Select defenders. Also, he did his work adjusting to the Miles Select 2-3 defense finding holes within it taking advantage of mid-range shots and making a good percentage of those opportunities. I have personally seen Michael play multiple times this past high school season and right before the AAU season. He is very great passer in multiple offensive situations whether it's in a drive &amp; kick, transition or passing out of a double team he always has a knack for knowing where his teammates are at all times with the ball in his hands. When scoring he drives to the rim through contact bullying his way against opposing guards while also making jump shots in different areas of the floor. Bryson is tough as nails willing to make hustle plays as he goes for offensive rebounds even with players bigger than him in the paint. Defensively he is very physical when playing on ball defense staying close to opposing ball handlers. With his physical tools and youth currently at the point guard position I wouldn't be surprised to hear his name more as he progresses through his high school career. He found himself wide open on many of his perimeter shots making multiple attempts against the Blue Chips. While being a very efficient free throw shooter he got to the line a lot because of his ability to draw a lot of contact on his drives to the basket. At times Dakari is a good on ball defender while also being very active off the ball on that end. In the game I watched him play Saturday against the [program_tooltip program_id='2428025' first='Houston' last='Hurricanes'] Elites he held the paint down not allowing too many shots in the painted area due to his presence. Offensively Michael made some layups at the rim putting himself in positions to get open on those opportunities.
