Ruey played his second season in the Elite Prep League, a post grad league where he's playing with older players, and he showed so much improvement being named a Second Team All EPL selection and helping lead them to a spot in the 16 team national tournament. The Canadian national has a bit of a throwback game, as he is a well-rounded player who consistently puts up good numbers and makes his impact on both ends of the floor. He isn't the most explosive player, but he gets to spots and can make tough shots in the midrange, and he moves his feet well to stay in front defensively. He makes open shots from deep at a good clip, he can hit tough shots in the midrange, he gets to the line often and he quietly is able to impact the game across the board.

Carter transferred to Hargrave where he also played up in the Elite Prep League, also earned a Second Team All EPL selection and also helped lead his team to a spot in the national tournament. The Florida native is a very intriguing prospect, as he has big time upside with his athleticism and he continually got better throughout the season. At 6'5” he has prototypical size on the perimeter with a frame that should fill out well moving forward, and he's a big time athlete who is good for a number of highlight reel plays every game. He improved throughout the season with his shooting and ball handling as he was forced to play on the ball later in the season, he has big time upside on the defensive end with his length and explosiveness and he is a good rebounder for his position too.

3) [player_tooltip player_id='1963391' first='Deshawn' last='Spellman'] | 6'6” SF | Hopewell (#11 Overall)

Spellman transferred to Hopewell from Landstown this season, and he showed continued improvement as he emerged as their go-to guy and helped lead the Blue Devils to a state championship appearance before falling to Spotswood. He checks the boxes physically and passes the look test, with great positional size and long arms to go along with it. He's a big time shooter who can light it up on kick outs and coming off screens, and he's able to put it on the deck and get downhill as well. He's a good athlete who can play above the rim and has a lot of upside on the defensive end, and with his ability to shoot it he will get heavily recruited as a “3 and d” archetype.

2) [player_tooltip player_id='1595666' first='Ethan' last='Mgbako'] | 6'5” SF | Oak Hill Academy (#7 Overall)

Mgbako transferred to Oak Hill from New Jersey, and the younger brother of the Indiana standout Mackenzie Mgbako is a hooper in his own rights and a prospect that will see his stock soar this summer. The 6'5” wing is built to hoop with his strong frame, long arms and explosive leaping ability that allows him to play above the rim effortlessly. He is a knock down shooter from deep who can stretch the defense and set his feet on the move, and he is able to play on the ball and create shots for himself and others off the bounce. He's a smooth player who can get to his spots effortlessly, but he also has a competitive chip and can turn it up on both ends when he needs to.

1) [player_tooltip player_id='2459068' first='Dreylan' last='Creasy'] | 6'8” SF | Blue Ridge (#5 Overall)

Creasy took the biggest jump in the top 10 in this update, as he showed a lot of flashes as a big time prospect his sophomore year, but really took it to another level this year on a very good Blue Ridge team this year. He's a walking mismatch that can play all over the floor, as he's a big time athlete who plays way above the rim, and he has the size to be able to play the five if he needs to and give his team a five out look with his perimeter skillset. He shoots the ball well from deep and can come off pin downs and through screens and set his feet to knock it down, and he has good ball skills to be able to handle in transition and in the half court to create shots too. He can post smaller defenders and hits the glass well, he moves his feet and can guard on the perimeter, he's a good help side shot blocker and everything he does translates to multiple roles at the highest level of college basketball.
