Unsung Standouts to Watch at the Class 4-6 Final Four

The high school basketball season will conclude this weekend at the Missouri Class 4,5 and 6 state championships at The Mizzou Arena on the campus of the University of Missouri. Here is a look at some of the unsung players who are very talented and have been instrumental in their team's respective run to the this weekend's Final Four.    The 5'5" 2025 point guard is the straw that stirs the drink for a talented Parkview team that is in the Class 5 Final Four. He is a fiery competitor who impacts the game at both ends of the floor with his speed and quickness. He distributes the ball very well and he can also get buckets when it is needed. He also grabs his share of rebounds despite being the smallest player on the floor. He is also a spark plug on the defensive end.     A 6'3" 2025 combo guard who is a big part of the Wildcats' success with his physical strength and versatile game. He is a matchup problem for opposing defenders with his size and strength, which he uses to take advantage of mismatches in the low post against smaller guards. He is also a good ball handler who attacks well from the perimeter with power drives. He is also capable of guarding multiple positions and players of different sizes.     The 6'5" 2025 forward is a valuable member of the Statesmen's Class 5 Final Four team with his ability to stretch the floor with his 3-point shooting. He can really knock down the Corner 3-pointer, which compliments the slashing ability of star 2027 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2334870' first='Scottie' last='Adkinson']. He is shooting an impressive 46 percent from 3-point range. In the Statesmen's thrilling 71-70 victory over Sikeston in the state semifinals, the scored 19 points and made six 3-pointers.     The 6'0" 2025 guard was also a standout wide receiver on the Eagles' Class 6 state runner-up football team. That speed that he showcases on the football field also comes in handy on the basketball court for the Class 6 state semifinalist. It is hard for defenders to stay in front of him as he can blow by them on straight line drives on a regular basis. He can also finish well in traffic and at different angles. He is also capable of hitting the 3-pointer if given extra room to protect against the drive.     The Red Devils are a talented team with a host of young Division I prospects, but this 2025 guard has been a reliable performer throughout his career with his perimeter shooting and steady all-around play. In the double-overtime win at DeSmet in the district championship game, he hit a trio of 3-pointers that all came at key times. He is a solid ball handler and passer who makes good decisions with the ball.     A 6'2" 2025 guard who has been a solid mainstay guard for the Cardinals for the past four seasons. He will get to finish an excellent career as a participant in the Final Four. He is a high-motor player who plays with great energy at both ends of the court. He can score when he's attacking on the drive and he can also knock down open 3-pointers.
