Severson led the tournament in scoring, regardless of class, pouring in 83 points throughout the week and showcasing his ability to fill it up from all three levels on the floor. Whenever Madrid needed a bucket throughout the week, he was able to go get it. He knocked down 3s from well beyond the high school line, got all the way to the rim routinely and finished through contact, and showcased a beautiful floater that he uses to finish over bigger defenders around the rim. An all-around great week for Severson, who capped his career with a state title.

A 6-5 wing who can do a little bit of everything, Roeder and another teammate we'll see a little later on this first team, were both outstanding on both ends of the floor throughout the week. His ability to defend multiple positions and create quality looks off the dribble, not only for himself, but for his teammates as well, made him a nightmare to defend throughout the season, and he showed the state that this week.

Boyd's presence in the paint changed the Rebels' quarterfinal game against North Linn, as his overwhelming size and length meant that the Lynx simply couldn't get to the bucket. The 6-5 big man is a really good shot blocker, controls the glass, and was fantastic on the offensive end this week, stepping out and burying shots from 3 routinely or scoring against defenders with his footwork and touch.

Throughout the week, Severson put the rest of the state on notice on what they're going to have nightmares of for the next three years. The 6-4 big man is a load on the block, big, strong, physical, and mobile. He has great footwork, with a developed array of moves and countermoves already at his disposal. He's going to put up some ridiculous numbers over the next three years for the Tigers.

2025 [player_tooltip player_id='2721446' first='Jacob' last='Litterer'] (Marquette Catholic)
Stats: 14.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.3 blocks, 1.0 steals, 48.5 FG%, 33.3 3P%, 63.6 FT%

Litterer nearly led a big comeback effort in the state championship game, scoring 14 second-half points to help bring the Defenders back within striking distance before their season ended in heartbreak for the second year in a row. His development is why Marquette was in this position to begin with, and he had a really nice week on both ends of the floor.
