Back-to-back state championships and District 9 Player of the Year aren't bad additions to the trophy cabinet for [player_tooltip player_id='1409583' first='Chadlyn' last='Traylor'] out of North Mecklenburg. He's a shifty lead guard who's difficult to stop when he's getting downhill and knocking down shots on the perimeter. He ended his high school career on a high note, winning the NCHSAA 4A State Championship with 22 points, four rebounds and four assists in the Finals. He's set to make waves at the next level with the College of Charleston in the CAA.

An emerging top prospect already in the 2027 class, the future is bright for [player_tooltip player_id='1280889' first='LJ' last='Smith IV'] at Lincolnton High. He's the District 10 Player of the Year after setting a new season mark in points scored with 986 points in 2024-25. He's an athletic and crafty guard to get to know given his prowess leading the Wolves to victory. He averaged 33.1 points per game.

Steinour is the District 11 Player of the Year out of Lake Norman High. He's a sizeable gamechanger in the painted area due for a bright future after posting 17.5 points, 12.4 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game in his final year of high school basketball. Look for him to play a role in Clemson's frontcourt in 2024-25 as he continues his career in the ACC at the next level.

Brewer takes home District 12 Player of the Year out of East Henderson High. He put together a nearly unbeaten season, leading the Eagles to a 27-1 record in 2024-25. He produced 28.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 3.5 steals per game on 56 percent shooting from the field and 39 percent from deep. He remains a top unsigned senior prospect for college programs in the area to get their eyes on given his skill set on the hardwood.
