ORANGE COUNTY — The last weekend of March marked the opening weekend of club basketball and individual showcase events across Southern California. We were in attendance at various events and below we detail the skilled wing standouts we saw.

[player_tooltip player_id='1707490' first='Joven' last='Dulay'] | 2026 | Folson/Jaylen Wells Elite

Dulay was one of the best pure shooters that I saw on the weekend. The 6-foot-5 junior's fundamental shooting mechanics start with his great base and balance and are completed by a quick-snapped follow through which gives him deep range and tight rotation. Dulay nearly single-handedly carried JWE to an upset win (of sorts) Sunday afternoon over CPSA.

Kingston Porch | 2026 | Eduprize (AZ)

Porch has a nice blend of ball skills and fluid and explosive athleticism which result in him being a dribble drive and transition lane-filling threat. The long, wiry 6-foot-5 wing has quick leaping ability off the floor which allows him to elevate over rim protectors and finish at the cup. In addition to his slashing and driving skills, Porch also showed a smooth pull-up jumper from three and mid-range.

Maccoy Pond | 2026 | Issaquah (WA)

Pond likely earned himself some more looks from Division I programs after his impressive performance at the Pangos All-American Preview. The strong 6-foot-6 wing is a highly skilled perimeter offensive player whose ability to knock down the three-point shot off the catch and off the bounce open up lanes for him to drive and use his frame to absorb and finish through contact.

Max Kipper | 2026 | George School (PA)

I really liked Kipper's ability to impact the game without needing to dominate the ball. The 6-foot-4 junior slashed to open areas for paint finishes in the half-court, ran the floor in transition and got downhill to the rim and made simple, but effective plays for teammates via the pass. Kipper, a strong-bodied lefty, is also a capable shooter from three off the catch.

OJ Blankson | 2026 | TSF Prep (GA)

Blankson recently decided to explore a prep year at Atlanta-based The Skill Factory and that post grad programs is getting a very talented perimeter player. The 6-foot-6 wing filled up the scoring column in a variety of ways in each game he played in as he knocked down difficult pull-up jumpers from mid-range and three in addition to using his shiftiness, length and athleticism to get to the rim and score efficiently.

[player_tooltip player_id='2425673' first='Tyler' last='Lopez'] | 2026 | Los Alamitos

At first glance, Lopez won't 'wow' you with physical tools or crazy athletic gifts, but the more you watch, the more you appreciate the skill, savvy and smarts he brings to the floor. The 6-foot-5 wing is one of the more underrated junior prospects in SoCal and his ability to impact the game in a variety of ways is what makes him so valuable. Lopez is a skillful driver and finisher to either hand, makes the simple pass and play for a teammate and is shooting the three-ball with more confidence and consistency.
