The 2025 rankings update came out yesterday with nearly 300 prospects taking part of the update. Prospects jumped up the rankings, like they do in every update. Here are the top stock risers from the 2025 rankings update.

[player_tooltip player_id='2129304' first='Zach' last='Schweid'], 5'11 CG Demarest

Schweid had the biggest jump in the rankings as he moved up 71 spots in the update. The 5'11 guard used his handle to get to his spot on the floor and shot the ball with confidence from behind the arc. Schweid threaded passes to his open teammates in the half court and rarely made bad decisions with the ball in his hands. He also showed the ability to play off the ball and could get deflections on the defensive end. Schweid put up points in bunches for the Vikings throughout the season and his recruitment will be one to watch this spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='2107794' first='Chris' last='Finks'], 6'0 PG Atlantic City

Finks moved up 56 spots in the update as he showed the ability to play on and off the ball. The 6'0 guard has a quick first step, which he uses to blow by his defender and finishes nicely around the basket. Finks can also score in the mid-range and sets his feet before he shoots. He is an underrated passer and slides his feet on the defensive end. Finks is a gritty guard prospect whose ability to make plays at both ends of the floor makes him an intriguing prospect to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1889492' first='Najai' last='Hines'], 6'9 C Plainfield

Hines was an absolute force for the Cardinals, which saw him jump up 49 spots. The 6'9 post finished with authority above the rim and showed off a nice touch around the rim. Hines used his strong frame to get position down low and ran the floor hard at both ends. He gobbled up rebounds on both ends of the floor and swatted almost everything around the rim. Hines was a load in the paint all season long as he led Plainfield to the Group 4 title.

[player_tooltip player_id='2421341' first='Colin' last='Byrne'], 6'3 SG Middletown North

Byrne enjoyed a breakout season for the Lions, which saw him move up 48 spots. The 6'3 guard has a good handle, which he uses to beat his defender off the bounce and knows how to finish around the basket. Byrne is more than just a slasher as he has a good release on his jumper and makes opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. He pushes the pace nicely in transition and has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor. Byrne poured in nearly 500 points this season as he was one of the top 2025 prospects in the Shore Conference this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1501449' first='Qadir' last='Dixon'], 6'2 SG Trenton

Dixon went up 47 spots in the update as he showed his ability to play both forward spots. The 6'2 wing attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the rim and is able to draw contact in the paint. Dixon moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself up for open layups and jumpers in the halfcourt. He works hard on the glass and holds his ground on the defensive end. Dixon is a tough forward prospect who does what it takes to help his team win games.
