Dulroie showcased his ability to break his defender down with an array of dribble combination moves— finding his in between game and knocking down mid range jumpers while also being able to hit shots off the bounce and off the catch from the perimeter. Defensively, Dulorie used his length in combination with his good anticipation skills to be disruptive at the point of attack and in the passing lanes.

Behind a 16.2 PPG average on the season, [player_tooltip player_id='2339153' first='David' last='Fix'] shined primarily as versatile three point shooter— showcasing his ability to shoot it off the catch, off the dribble, and coming off screens, and with range too. Fix also allowed his perimeter shooting ability to open additional offense for himself, attacking defensive closeouts and getting to the basket at times. Fix averaged 2.4 made threes per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2421357' first='Matt' last='Caplan']'s junior season saw him be most effective finishing at the basket both in transition and throughout Summit's halfcourt sets. As the season went along, Green displayed his ability to create off the bounce— breaking his defender down and getting to the basket ultimately finishing around defenders and through contact. Green also showed he's capable of being a threat from three point range, showing flashes of knocking down open shots from the perimeter off the catch.

Averaging 11.7 PPG, Josh Ketschke provided a strong and steady source of offense for this year's Cranford squad. Whether it was knocking down open shots from three point range or attacking closeouts and getting to his mid range pull ups off one or two dribbles. As the season went along, Madrid also showed how fundamentally sound he is— utilizing jump stops, pump fakes, reverse pivots and things of that nature. Madrid averaged 11.6 PPG throughout the course of his junior season.

The 2024-25 season was full of tight and competitive matchups and explosive individual performances and one of if not the best conference in New Jersey, the Union County Conference, provided so much of that throughout the course of the regular season. With the high school season fully wrapped up, let's dive into some guards that stood out with strong seasons in the Union County Conference's Mountain Division.
