A super aggressive slasher, [player_tooltip player_id='2763539' first='Omar' last='Mangassouba'] excelled in the ways he was able to put pressure on the rim. Whether it was grabbing a rebound and pushing in transition or catching it off a ball reversal in the halfcourt, Mangassouba was assertive in attacking the basket. As the season went along, Mangassouba also showed the strides he took as a three point shooter, becoming more and more comfortable knocking down open catch and shoot threes from the perimeter.

Malachi Thomas shined primarily in the ways he was able to attack the basket as the season went along. Thomas' aggression in putting pressure on the rim also lead to him getting ample opportunities at the free throw line. Thomas also showed to be a capable threat off the ball, knocking down open catch and shoot threes as the season went along. Thomas also did a good job of contributing in the rebounding department for this year's Newark Central. Thomas averaged 12.1 PPG and 8.2 RPG.

Mohamed Swaray was another effective connective piece for Newark Collegiate this season. Swaray starred in the ways he was able to knock down open three point shots, finish plays in transition, operate as a secondary ball handler, and be a disruptive defender on the defensive side of the floor.
Although just a freshman, [player_tooltip player_id='2788641' first='Gavin' last='Roach'] showed a large amount of flashes of being a multi level shot maker for West Side's offense. Rapidly improving and possessing an extremely high motor, Roach showed he's capable of scoring in transition, hitting mid range pull ups off the dribble, attacking the rim on halfcourt dribble drives, as well as knocking down open shots from three point range. Roach averaged 11.9 PPG throughout the course of his freshman season.

On his way to averaging 15.1 PPG for Columbia this season, [player_tooltip player_id='2932335' first='Jayvon' last='Rogers'] excelled in the ways he was able put pressure on the rim. Showcasing his ability to finish through contact and around defenders at the basket, Rogers was super aggressive in attacking the basket both in the halfcourt and in transition. Rogers' aggressive approach in attacking the basket also opened up ample opportunities to get to the free throw line— ultimately capitalizing off such opportunities.
