Meet the Nominees
Kayin helped his team win the City Championship on Saturday, posting 23 points, 4 assists, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocks, and was named MVP. He also hit a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer to clinch the 1st seed in the district. He also made 1st Team All-District, leads the league in 3-pointers made, and currently leads 3A in Tennessee in points per game.
Highlights
Ethan recently hit 1,000 points, becoming only the 3rd player in Easley history to achieve this milestone! He finished the season averaging 20.3 PPG, 4.6 REB, 2.9 AST, and 1.5 STL while shooting 48.9% overall, 46.9% from 3, and 91% from the free-throw line. Ethan played in 28 games, missing just 18 minutes all season.

Derrick Hudson
DJ had an incredible performance, posting a double-double with 24 points and 13 rebounds—his 7th of the season! This dominant showing puts him at the top of the 6A-West Conference for double-doubles, and he's currently ranked #2 overall in the entire 6A Conference. His consistent standout play continues to make an impact!
Julien has been on fire with back-to-back 30+ point games this week! On 2/18/25, he dropped 39 points, including 6 three-pointers (6/10), 6 rebounds, and a perfect 10/10 inside the arc. Then, on 2/21/25, he followed up with 34 points, 6 more three-pointers, 3 blocks, 4 assists, and 2 steals.
Highlights
Luke scored 42 points against Clark County, Missouri, knocking down 7 three-pointers. Then, on February 17th, he one-upped himself with 43 points, hitting 11 three-pointers! On February 20th, in a district playoff game, he added 24 points with 4 more three-pointers. Luke's dedication is unmatched—he's put in thousands of shots on our Dr. Dish, and it shows with 87 made threes on 174 attempts, shooting an incredible 50%.
Highlights
Grady, a dynamic 6'4” sophomore guard, has been a key starter with an all-around game. He scores at all three levels and dominates the boards, leading the conference with 10.4 RPG (240 this season). Grady ranks second in scoring (17.8 PPG), second in assists (3.7 APG), fourth in steals (2.5 SPG), and third in blocks (1.3 BPG). In his last game, he exploded for 37 points, 15 rebounds, 8 assists, and 5 steals in a 94-53 victory.
Highlights
Josh had an outstanding performance with 30 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals in a win over Bolivar, hitting 5 of 7 from beyond the arc. He followed that up with 18 points against Summit Christian and 17 points against University Academy. Over his last three games, he's been on fire, shooting 71% from three-point range, going 10 for 14!
Jackson just made history by breaking a 51-year-old school record for most rebounds in a single game! The previous record, set in the 1973–74 season with 29 rebounds, was shattered this past Tuesday (2/18) when Jackson grabbed an incredible 30 rebounds, setting a new school record!
