<p>Below, we'll take a look at 10 <em>Shooting Guards</em> from across New England, that remain unsigned or uncommitted at this point in time.</p>

<p>The <em>Phillips Exeter</em> guard plays with a high basketball IQ, showing the ability to make loud plays at the rim as well as consistently knock down shots from behind the arc. He gets into his shot quickly in catch and shoot situations, does a nice job of attacking bad closeouts, and can get downhill quickly off rip aways. He's an instinctive defender that makes plays in passing lanes with his athleticism and physicality. He also does a nice job on the defensive glass, showing the ability to grab and go, initiating the break in the process.</p>

<p>The <em>Bridgeport Prep</em> guard is a big time scorer that knows how to get to his spots without getting sped up. He has a solid frame that he utilizes to keep defenders on his hip, showing the ability to get where he wants off the bounce, getting into his jumper at any time. He's comfortable handling the ball, makes good decisions out of ball screens, and can operate as an initiator when needed. His scoring is his best attribute as he's capable of getting buckets at all three levels, while playing on or off the basketball.</p>

<p>The <em>La Salle Academy</em> guard is one of the top shooters in <em>Rhode Island</em>, using his size and high release to get his jumper off at any time. He does a good job of moving without the basketball, finding open passing lanes, and doing his work to be shot ready on the catch. His shooting stroke is compact, which allows him to get his shot off quickly and he's also showed a developing mid-range game this winter. He shoots a soft basketball, showing good touch at all levels, and the ability to score at the rim in straight line drives.</p>

<p>The <em>Master's School</em> guard is bully on the perimeter that has really increased his skill level over the last year. An impressive athlete, he shows a quick first step on the perimeter and the ability to finish through contact at the rim. He can change direction quickly, is a handful to guard in the open floor, and has developed a consistent perimeter jumper. Defensively, he can guard multiple positions with his combination of strength, athleticism, and positional size, does a great job of rebounding by the rim, and is a shot blocker from the help side.</p>

<p>The <em>Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall</em> guard is an above the rim athlete that can really attack the rim off the bounce. He has great size and length on the perimeter, allowing him to be both a solid defensive rebounder and disruptive defender in passing lanes. He can really get out and run in transition, finishing plays above the rim on the break. He has the ability to handle the ball on the perimeter, can take smaller defenders into the post as a scorer, and shows a good feel as a cutter that finishes with either hand through contact.</p>

<p>The <em>Notre Dame-Fairfield</em> guard is a plus athlete with good positional size that can impact a game on both ends of the floor. He does a nice job of getting out and running the foor in transition, where he utilizes his strength and athleticism to score at the rim. He takes advantage of smaller guards down low, working out of the dunker spot to get to the rim. He can make plays in isolation situations and shows a good feel for the game as a passer. Defensively, he's versatile, having the ability to guard in the paint or on the perimeter, while also rebounding at a high level.</p>

<p>The <em>Kents Hill</em> guard is an above the rim athlete that covers ground quickly and can slip through tight spaces to score at the rim. He's a twitchy athlete that moves well laterally and is at his best in the open floor when he can attack the rim. He gets downhill off the bounce, is a good movement passer, and has deep range on his jumper in catch and shoot situations. His athleticism pops on the defensive end of the floor, as he's a multi-positional perimeter defender that generates a high number of deflections and steals, leading to easy runouts.</p>

<p>The <em>Rice Memorial</em> guard knows how to fill a stat sheet and, on top of that, makes the little plays that contribute to winning games. He's a good shooter from behind the arc, moves well without the basketball, and leverages his shooting to open up driving lanes. He's capable of making multiple threes on any given night, but also adds playmaking from the off-guard spot, getting into the paint and spraying it out to shooters on the perimeter. Defensively, he's active on the ball and in passing lanes, leading to multiple steals per game.</p>

<p>The <em>Shawsheen Tech</em> guard plays with an attacking style offensively, showing the ability to score at all three levels. He's a physical guard with good size on the perimeter, does a nice job of getting downhill off the bounce, and scores efficiently in the mid-range. He uses ball screens, both to turn the corner and to hit step behind threes, but also shows good instincts as a facilitator. Defensively, his strength allows him to guard up and down a position, while his athleticism allows him to make a real impact on the defensive glass.</p>

<p>The <em>Bishop Hendricken</em> guard is a good athlete with long arms that can make plays in space on both ends of the floor. While he does a nice job of getting to the rim off the bounce, he's at his best when he's moving off the ball, utilizing screens to get open for catch and shoot opportunities. He elevates on his jumper, has a consistent release, and can make shots with range. On the other end of the floor, his length gives him an advantage in passing lanes and on the glass, but it's his lateral mobility that really stands out.</p>
